Hi, bought my son a dt125. Previous owner tried to convert it to off road but after cutting all wires and removing lights etc he gave up and we bought as it was non runner. It is a 2000 model I think and would appreciate any advice on wiring and cdi to achieve a spark. Thanks

Hiya there guys, I picked up a little 08 YBR 125 in early summer, good nick and runs very well, had an issue with the fuel pump in the summer but other than that its been solid, have been loving it commuting to work every day even with winter drawing in. Issue is i commute early mornings, leaving the house at 6am its already pitch black, i commute on mostly unlit 60mph b roads, which called attention to the very poor headlight. I'm having to slow down considerably, other cars don't notice me all the time,my stomach is in my throat untill i get back into the land of streetlamps. Its the ba20d fitting, i upgraded the lamp to a ring halogen, which is a little brigh…

Hi, ive got an sr125 its done 53000km < what a soldier lol ive done 800 of them miles and now when ever i put it into gear it cuts out, it does start as soon as i take it out of gear i dont know where to start. Can anyone help me out please

Evening Ladies and Gents.....new to the forum.....have just purchased an XS250 (Barn find) and looking to restore it back to some of it's former 'glory'......rode one for many thousands of miles back in my Navy days, Stevenage to Yeovilton.....really looking forward to getting stuck into it and any advice would be gratefully received. Hi all, I've got a TRX850 and I've just bought a ty 50. The ty is a barn find and has been used off road and has had all lights and clock taken off. It's missing the number plate and logbook too. Normally I wouldn't buy a bike like this but it came through a friend as part of a garage clearance. The engine and frame numbers are present and matching. Is there any way I can trace the plate from the frame number? Thanks Jason

Hi, I'm Neil and I have joined up to share info and hopefully extract more knowledge from you all. I have recently acquired a 1986 RD350N project in bits, I had an F2 in 1991 before moving on to the big 4 strokes! Anyway I just love these old bikes and I'm currently getting things ready for paint. This wont be rushed as Im struggling to find OEM parts to put it back togeher. thanks

Hi all I just got my self a dt 200 wr to have some fun on and use for back and for to work can't wait to use it love the smell of two stroke brings me back to my fifty days ha it's a clean bike just needs some tlc a fork seal a tyre and she'll be on the road can't wait could do with some decals as they been removed and some sm wheels and a exhaust as its really quiet

Hi all, Great site, I’m sure I’ll be back for advice at some point later but thought i’d say hello for now. I’ve recently done CBT and bought my first bike, I’d been looking at China’s finest offerings for a while but I saw the error of my ways and found a nice ‘Japanese’ YBR for the right price! Not going to be nailing any track days any time soon but she’s been nice and reliable so far and great for commuting and learning to ride. What would you all advise about doing DAS? Does everyone do the intensive courses nowadays or is it possible to break it down into lessons and spread the cost out a bit?

Hi. I'm new to this forum but not bikes! ! Ive owned many and just bought a Yamaha Jog R moped. Its a shit heap but should be good fun on the roads. It has its problems but ill get them sorted, jest need to familiarise myself with mopeds as opposed to normal bike engines!!

Morning men and ladies; I've been offered a 1992 xj900f for £300 by a friend of mine as a first big bike for when I pass my test as I'm still on a cbt. Sadly it's in bits at the moment as he was stripping it down to have the frame powder coated then he had heart problems so never got put back together although it was in daily use until then. So questions are would it make an ok first big bike, is it easy to handle and quite docile in slow traffic and anything I should watch out for or upgrade (brakes etc) when putting it back together?
