Morning men and ladies; I've been offered a 1992 xj900f for £300 by a friend of mine as a first big bike for when I pass my test as I'm still on a cbt. Sadly it's in bits at the moment as he was stripping it down to have the frame powder coated then he had heart problems so never got put back together although it was in daily use until then. So questions are would it make an ok first big bike, is it easy to handle and quite docile in slow traffic and anything I should watch out for or upgrade (brakes etc) when putting it back together? Timbo

Hey all, Welsh newbie here guys just saying hello. happy to be here and hopefully will become part of the furniture. not that most will be interested but passed my motorcycle test yesterday on first attempt which im very happy about. and will be getting my bike in December. I know its not the best choice of motorcycle for a newbie but it came at a perfect price with 8500 miles on the clock full service history from a family friend. was to much to turn down, even if I don't get on with the bike ill make money on it if not break even. sensible young lad anyways and will be taking it slow, its about the freedom and lifestyle for me not the young imm…

Well i'll tell you a little about myself shall I? Currently 17 years old and learning Car Mechanics at college. Got a keen interest for motorcycles and currently on my L plates. I've got an interest for the Yamaha DT125, so much so that i've decided to buy myself a nice frame and see if i can build it up all nice and painted how it would've looked from the factory. So expect to see me put up a project thread sometime soon, maybe in the next week or so. (also expect a few questions lol)

Hey all, figured I'd better join a forum as I've just got back into the riding scene as of today. First bike I ever owned was a 2000 Yz250, absolute beast of a bike but temperamental as all hell. But still I loved that bike to bits. Sadly she popped on me about 2 years ago and hasnt gone since. So today my new baby arrived at its new home. 2010 Yz450f. After the brief ride today I'm more than impressed with the performance of the bike. Its got a 500cc bore kit on it so she's got a fair punch! Anyway, only a matter of time before I start breaking things (or myself?) So im sure ill have plenty of queries for you guys. Thanks -BradZ

Hola all! Recently got myself a 12 plate YBR125 [even though I have my mod 2 very soon] primarily for commuting, so I thought I'd join in here. I'm Farrell, living in Manchester, but originally from those lands up North called "Scotland" And, I hope to gain some wisdom from you all [shiny side goes on the bottom, right?] during my visits here Now, I just need to decide on a profile picture...
