I'm Andrew, live in Switzerland, but From UK, and have had the following Yamahas in recent years: TDR, Yamaha XJ 900S and now have a 2-year-old Yamaha XJ6 Diversion (2013) I am very interested in meeting Yamaha XJ6 owners online for chat about technical issues, modifying and adding stuff etc. Am I in the right place?

  3. Hello, My names Richie saying Hi from Blackpool! Inherited a 1968 Yamaha DT-1 250. She needs a lot of loving but i'm aiming to do a complete restoration. My grandad has owned her from new but unfortunately she was laid up to rest after some issues. She was ridden back from Saudi in the late 80's and hasn't been used since (Although she isn't seized ). My dad has been riding for years and throughout my childhood I attended many rallies and events i just dont ride myself, hopefully after the DT1 is restored that will be the next step. Well hope to meet and chat with most of you guys as i'm pretty sure if i get stuck one of you will be able to help. …

Hi guys, I just stumbled on your club and thought I'd take a look. I live in the USA and have a small vintage Japanese cycle collection including a 1971 CT1 and a 1973 RT3. I'm kind of reliving my childhood with some of the older toys and look forward to gaining more information on these great classics.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and fairly new to biking. Let me tell you a bit about myself, Im 28 years old from Edinburgh. I own a Yamaha YZF R125, best bike iv owned so far. Wish I got into biking sooner as I love every minute of it. First bike I owned was a Honda NSR125, shortly after I went for my CBT which was my first real shot of a bike. I'm looking to go for direct access when and if i can due to work commitments. But fingers crossed we get good weather for it soon

Hi everyone, i'm a 20 year old student in norfolk just got back into the two-wheeled world after a year out. I've always been a yamaha fan.. my first bike was a 2000 xj600, then a 1993 fzr600, then a 1991 virago 535 then a year out and now i'm on a 1997 thundercat. As you can probably tell, i like my old school bikes. I got my thundercat as a high mpg commuter as i do 60 miles per day but after a few rides i quickly realized it was far better than just a cheap hack! It is by far the best all round bike i've ever ridden. No matter what i want to do whether it be just eating up the miles, or having fun with other bikers on a sunday, or taking a roadtrip 2 up it does it all …

  15. Hello everyone, thanks for having a gander. Basic,y on my xt125 r I've been without a front brake for weeks and finally my master cylinders arrived. I replaced it and bled the system for well over and hour, still no pressure. So I kept filling the reserve up and with a tube on the bleed nipple I left it open and let gravity do its thing, still no bubbles just a constant flow. Again tried bleeding, no luck. So I wacked the calliper off and removed the pads, pushed the slave cylinder to the back, bled again, I saw that the slave cylinder is moving perfectly as I bleed it, tried it several times and it's simply working. I know how hydraulics work I'm studying engineering …

Hi all, I just returned back to riding after a bad spell when my first bike was stolen and put me off. I really missed it and after two years Ive decided to get back to it starting off with another Yamaha YBR125 its a 2012 and the fuel injection engine is a god sent after having the carb version. Really nice bike and was chuffed at getting it for £1100 with a 12 month MOT and practically immaculate. Looking now to do a bit of practise and go for the full licence and get something a bit more tasty.
