Hi all, like many of you , cant shake off my teen years on the dt 175 mx , jacked up, running on castrol R , oh the smell !!, Well just bought a restoration project, new powder coated frame and some cracking parts to go with (a brand new fresco pipe still in the wrapper ) , unwelded exhaust and nice tank and plastics, Anyway just a short note to say what a great site this is and im sure i'll back back on after advise etc and a few parts cheers all Phil

Hi all new to the fourm but not new to bikes. I have a question,but im not sure if i should ask it here or not,so here goes. I bought a 2013 v star deluxe. Fantastic bike,i really like it. I drilled out the stock exhaust and installed a cobra power flo air breather(it came with the bike) Do I need a fuel processor or will the computer compensate for it. I have a 2 day run coming up and I'd hate to blow the thing up. Thanks !!!!!

Bought myself a 92 pre diversion XJ600 2 weeks ago after 11 years without a bike.... haven't stopped smiling yet! My first ever bike was a 1977 yamaha SR 500 which I got in about 1988. over the years I have also had: a Cx 500, two XS750s, (not at the same time, one after the other) rd 250, suzuki gsx250. honda cb750 hardtail chop, guzzi v1000 (ex-police). the guzzi was the one I kept the longest and the one i had last... some overlapped and there were a number of little bikes not worth mentioning that where runabouts. I have a liking for shaft drive (as you see). I would maybe have gone for the XJ900... I always wanted one, one of my dream bikes... but my reason for …

Greetings all, visited the forum a few years back when I had a Dtr125, now back as I'm looking for another 2stroke. I've seen the r1z, a jap import to the uk, but other than 3 vastly overpriced imports on the boat from Japan, they seem to be a bit thin on the ground! Hi everyone out there,I'm new to all this type of forum but please bear with me as I'm a bit of a dinosaur. I've got in my garage a 1979 rd250 (air cooled) and Suzuki rf600. Last time on road was when I was about 17 (now about to turn 56) so thought about time I got back on the road so passed cut and theory now just got the rest to do. Wish me luck as will take test in a couple of months.

Heya, I'm mahou. I'm very new to the biking world. I passed my CBT about 5 months ago and bought my first bike shortly afterwards. I did my CBT on a Yamaha YBR and thought it was a great starter bike, so I picked one up for cheap. Here she is on the first day I got her: From afar the bike looks great but she really has seen much days. Many of the panels are cracked or missing and it seems to have been dropped so many times. I've stumbled on this forum every now and then so I figured it was about time that I joined it and shared my little project Hi!

hi everyone,i have inherited a 1976 dt 175 and have a question regarding missing parts,is there a reason why someone would remove the head/tail lights and oil tank/speedo and just leave the tacho i'am a little bewildered why this would be unless its for a specific reason.any ideas please. thank you.

Long term member, but I've been unfaithful; haven't had a Yamaha for a while. I now have a rather tasty FZX 750 again! [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:1061] My childhood dream bike, improved. On a side note; how do I remove pics from my gallery? I no longer own the bikes in there apart from this one, and I would like to remove them! Seeing the XJR upsets me... Loved that bike sooooo much.

I've been poking around this forum on and off for quite some time trying to find the new members bit. I am Steve from Chelmsford I have an old fj1200 that I'm hoping to eventually put back on the road,it is in a few bits right now but I do now that I need a right hand disc,the old one failed mot due to a dick head leaving on a disc lock (me) Hear is a picture of the old gal before I dug her out and started taking more bits off.I would be grateful if any one has a disc for sale,please pm me.Thankyou and hi to all bikers. Tuesday will be the first day I have not travelled to work with my fellow rats on public transport!

Hi folks Just saying hi as new member from the Isle of Wight Managed to pick up a 93' Sr 125 as a first bike after doing my CBT. The bike had been left still on a farm since last summer, so needs some attention yet. Got some starting hesitancy, isn't the fastest in the county, and will need a new exhaust before the next MOT, but giving my tool box a good work out. Looking forward to many a sunny, Sunday afternoon, taking it apart and putting back together for the Monday morning work trip! Finding the forums great help already Lee
