  5. Started by Topcat,

In 2000 i had just purchased the Suzuki GSXR 600 Alstare Corona. I kept it for a year before thinking, this things going to kill me ! . I was just turned 40 with 30 years on bikes... yes 30. From a NSU Quickly 50 at 10, Bantam 150 at 12, Starfire 250 at 14. Then 16 and my first provisional license and the immortal Fsie (Fizzy) . A string of bikes followed until the GSXR. I thought its time for something softer and was looking at Bandits but they were everywhere .It was then that i came across this little beauty, the owner had passed away age 32 of a heart attack and his family were moving it on. Long story short that was 2002 and we are still together. She is my Top cat

  12. Started by Tdr125greg,

Good evening all, I'm Greg I have recently purchased a Tdr125 1993 with delta box frame and thought I would sign up to the forum to share the build project. I intend to do a few minor mods Including Trail tech vapour, usd forks,17inch front wheel, better brakes. For the moment though it seems she has never had any of the oil seals replaced and that will be my first thing to do. I've ordered a mitaka piston from PJME with little end bearing and a powervalve service kit, as again the original seals were shot.. Thanks guys and if you like little 125 2strokes watch this space.

Howdy, New biker with an old bike. Went for a YBR125 after a bit of looking about. Its a 58 plate and I've ridden it twice now! Braving the Baltic weather and taking it easy. Only ever ridden 50cc scooters around central London before: a Vespa pk50 and a dodgy Chinese thing that topped out at 25mph. Have no clue how to look after a bike but am keen to learn on the job. I have visions of one day coasting around the world on a massive cruiser with fat wheels, but one step at a time: I need to learn to ride. Cheers.

My name is Aubrey. I live in Kimberley and own a XT1200Z or Super Tenere. What a awesome machine. I've had it for four years now and have done about 35000Km on it with a 50/50 tar and gravel. Seen a lot of South Africa on its back and it till date has never missed a beat. I had A 1200 Sportster Harley before the Yamaha and did 83000km on that one since 2005 to 2013. I have been riding bike since 1972. What a ride. Well that's me. Enjoy Aubrey

Hi, I bought my dragster 125 about 8 months ago not runing with the intention of bobbing it as my first bike project. I managed to get the engine runing breafly but not test driven as I had not done my cbt and the bike was not road worthy. But the engine was running well so I started restoring the bike, 8 months of a lot of hard work and looking forward to riding it this summer. I finally finished the bike the day before the mot and managed to get a couple of test runs out of her and all seemd good. The mot went excellent not one bad thing said. Glowing in fact. On the way back from the mot was where it all started to go wrong. there was a bit of rattling from the clutch …

Just popped in to say hi. I am hoping i can find a missing part for my Dt125 lc 1986 the left hand switch gear. It was an old farm bike rusty but complete apart from some toe rag stole the carb top?. Luckily u can get chinese copys for a few pounds. Just used the top part and kept the mikuni in place. The exhaust is a mess of welding everything is rusty especially the wheels. It is painted in a weird colour scheme of green and white plastics with a green frame.A mouse had setup home in the airbox how it managed to squeeze thru the gap. The nest was right thru to the carb nice cleaning job. My plan is to run it as a road legal rat bike. So need a solution for the switch ge…

Hi everyone I am Caleb. I live in the Waikato region in NZ. I just got given a yamaha motorbike and I have no idea what it is. It needs some work so I was hoping I could get some help identifying. I took some photos and I would have attached them but the size limit is crazy. It has a 2500cm3 stamped on the motor and judging by a date on the I'd tag it's from 86. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
