Hi guys and gals i got me a fairly clean 1979 xs 250, i used to ride RD 250/400 back in the day but a bit too pricey for me, as i've not worked or owned a 4 stroke before i might need some help keeping this nearly 40 year old bike running ok.

Hi all - I'm new to this club. I’m riding a YBR since 2012 and like 'making good progress’ within the given limitations. I have a full licence, and have ridden bigger bikes, one of them a Divvy, but have now downsized. I’m a fit 78 (lots of cycling!), not looking for any kind of relationship except company on the road. October 04-14 would seem a good option to avoid the midges. Get in touch soon if you're interested!

Hi all. Not ridden a bike for over 35 years and decided to go back. Very annoyed to find out I couldn't ride anything above 125. Back in the day a provisional licence would cover up to a 250, my last bike, which was a Yamaha XS 250 twin. However having completed the essential basic training without making a fool of myself I'm now on the road with a Dragstar XVS 125. An odd choice perhaps but a bloke of my age looks a little odd on a street racer type and to be honest, I love the cruiser styling, and of course it looks like a 650 even close up. Sadly the bike is partially dissembled as the MOT ran out and I needed new fork seals and got a little carried away. One of m…

Hi all, A riding buddy mentioned this forum and its usefulness in finding cool new things for the FZ-07. I'm a Yamaha fan at heart, so thought I'd join up. Owned two R6's in the past. Current bikes are a red 2015 FZ-07 and a "raven" 2016 Super Ténéré ES, which I just picked up. I'm itching to go on some long rides. Looking forward to seeing what's around here! You can see more of me and my bikes on Instagram and YouTube.

Good people, New member in South West UK. Looking at getting an XVS950 midnight star for commuting, bit of cruising and a bit of two up riding for myself and my wife which may tip it to the 1300. I'm 6'3 roughly 15st, mrs is 5'1 and 8st. Anybody do much two up on the 950? It wont be much as mrs isn't much into bikes but don't want to be under powered when we do go for a jaunt.

Hi Folks, My name is Chris (Stoffel) and I am South African by birth. I have been in the UK for 9 years and have converted to British thanks to my Mum who was born in Poole, Dorset. I have been riding on and off since 69 starting with a 50cc Zundapp to FJR via Suzuki 250 scrambler, Harley 1200 sportster, Harley Fat Boy (Me and the bike), The new Tiger when the cross version arrived circa 2006 then into the UK onto a 1200GS and finally onto my FJR. I will be rejoining Basingstoke MAG. Did a great tour into Brittany in 2007 with these peeps. I like to tour with a view but not adverse to a bit of speed at the right time and place! I look forward to m…

Hi I've just bought a TW125 as a bit of a project, and a way back into 2 wheels...I know it's not hugely powerful, but it should be fun doing it up. I started out on a blue FSIEdx back in '78, moved on to a Suzuki GT185, for about 12mths, then got a Kawasaki KE175. (Off-road fun with a Kawasaki KX250 A7) Moved on solely to cars in about 1982, but got a Peugeot scooter in about 2008 for a year.(50- too gutless for 15st bloke haha) .....and now the two wheeled bug is back! I've just picked up a 'barn find' 2002 TW125 with only 16k on the clock and mots to verify, it's currently a non runner, with a wiring fault. it appears that it will run if 12v appl…

New guy, brought my new-to-me 2017 XT250 home on a trailer in the rain Monday. Spent a very rainy Tuesday rearranging my garage to create a parking space for the new member. And, finally got out on the road for a brief ride this evening when the sun finally dried the road and air. Probably no limit to all the things I need to learn.
