was in ASDA buying a large bag of Winalot for my dogs and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog........ Duh! I was feeling a bit crabby so on impulse, I told her no, I was starting The Winalot Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost fifty pounds before I awakened in an intensive care unit with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IV's in both arms. Her eyes about bugged out of her head. I went on and on with the bogus diet story and she was totally buying it . I told her that it was an easy, inexpensive diet and that the way it works is to load your pockets or purse w…

To my darling husband, Before you return from your overseas trip I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into the driveway. Fortunately not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry too much about me. I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake. The garage b door is slightly bent but the pick up fortunately came to a halt when it bumped into your car. I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my…

petition to get cheaper fuel for people in areas that have no public transport, the guy that has started it is a friend of mine, came from the Doncaster Area now living in devon, and is a biker these are his words Government policy cut rail services in rural areas to save money. Bus services were liberalised so that companies cherry-picked the best routes and dropped the poor payers. Rural dwellers should be compensated by discounting road fuel as cars are the only transport many of us have. A smart card used to pay at the pumps would ensure that only those who qualified got the discount. This system is used in N. Italy based on post code. http://petitions.pm.gov.…

What kind of set up do you guys use for washing / cleaning parts? I've seen a few on Ebay with the pumps - but not sure of the quaility and if I really need another piece of equipment if a plastic dish sink pan and stiff brush would suffice. Also - what type of solvents do you prefer? Thanks for the input. G

Well I am taking part in the Randonnee Challenge in July, and this will be my biggest bike ride ever! And no it's not on a motorbike unfortunately. It's a 100 mile ride across the South Downs from Winchester to Eastbourne, with a total climb of 10,000 feet. 98 miles is off road so it's going to be a heck of a ride and it has to be completed within 12 hours. I am hoping to finish it in under 10 hours. I'm not that crazy that i am doing this for fun, i am doing the ride for the FSID which is The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths is the UK's leading baby charity aiming to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. So if anyone would lik…
