Hi all, Does anyone have a recommendation/comments when it comes to getting those extra or ultra bright light bulbs? I am looking at replacing the R1 bulbs with some Piaa bulbs, I know they are not cheap but if I get twice the dazzle it might make people see me , I have not seen any other bulbs that offer twice the light output for the same current. Thanks

Got a good start this morning…..was throwing a leg over the Beast right @ 4:20am. Nice & clear weatherwise…..ended up making good time as traffic was just shy of Non-existant. Here’s a nice view of Mt. Hood from the East side just @ the edge of the Warm Springs Indian Rez….. Musta got my wires crossed with my friend…..as he wasn’t home when I got there. I figured he was either @ work or up Skiing (lucky Bastid) , as the weather woulda been perfect for a day of Spring Skiing. So, I had to check out the view from the top of 4,000ft. Pilot Butte while I was here…… I then decided to set off for the Tumalo Reservoir area myself….. & Wha…

Hi All Well now i have done it, after riding for years "when i was a lad" (but never passing my bike test (i know im a kn*) and being turned to the dark side by them 4 wheeled things, i have now bought a XV125 Virago. Been thinking about bikes for ages now but always resisted as i know i will be hooked on them again (I had an 80cc sports bike and did 23000 miles in under a year, mad or what) What finally did it was sitting in the queues at the blackwall tunnel for the past 6 weeks and watching with envy as the bikes slip past (well they do by me coz i get out the way) it was getting to be 3 hours to get to work and 2 to get home (only 40 miles) Pick it up…

Question concerning the fazer headlight. I'm fitting a fazer headlight to my fz which I might say is taking some time due to the amount of fibre glassing. I would like to now if the lefthand light when you're on the bike is wired to the dip or main beam. If anyone can let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hi everybody, I'm a newby to the forum having just upgraded from my NC35 to a 2003 R6, which I'm absolutely loving, as the following story will prove.... So I've had the R6 for a grand total of 9 days now, and coming home from work last night I was getting bored of dumb ass drivers sitting in the outside lane of the 3 lane section of the A40 and leaving the two other lanes completely free, so I took the decision to undertake the lot of them in the inside lane at a speed approaching 3 figures in a 50mph area. Unfortunately one of these cars turned out to be an unmarked pig in a BMW 5 series. He eventually caught up with me in traffic and pulled me over for what I was t…

I have an '85 yfm 80. somethings wrong with the steering somewhere and it wont turn sharp at all. i mean, i have a bayou that turns sharper than this thing. i know that it should make tighter turns than it does because ive ridden one very similar to it (same make and model) and it was the tightest turning quad iv ever ridden. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I bought my 94 SecaII last October from a motorcycle enthusiast. This guy had bought it from a husband and wife and the wife rode the SecaII and her husband had another bike so I'm pretty sure that my bike was not abused (as it was ridden by an older woman). The guy I bought it from did some work to it such as: jet kit and carb rebuild (dunno what stage jet kit), K&N Velocity Stack intakes for each carb, he replaced the vacuum fuel pump with an electronic one that would normally go on an ultra-light aircraft - he said he matched the PSI of the electronic pump exactly (somewhere around 4 PSI) and also installed a Vance&Heines 4into1 exhaust. He only put about 500 m…
