Hi Everyone! I've just joined the club and have a couple of questions and would be grateful for your comments. I am about to buy a XJR 1300, hopefully the SP model in the livery last available in 2000. It will have to be the blue one! I am waiting for the right bike to turn up on ebay but am not really sure of the value of that model of XJR. If anyone could enlighten me I would be grateful - what should I be prepared to pay for an A1 example?. Also, I'm going for the XJR 1300 because it is the very epitome of my idea of a retro bike - the only sort of bikes I have ridden past and present. I am, of course, 'born again'. Hi all New to this biking buisness but allways wanted to to do it. I have just got myself a Yamamha XJ650 (so I have been told) It is a non runner having been kept outside for two years. So it is a little restoration project for me. Some way to learn about bikes So I apolagise now if i ask to many questions. Will know about the bike when I get a copy of the log book from DVLA Can anyone advise me of a club in Central Scotland that might be good for me to attend? Day one untouched

Hi Can any one help? I am new to bikes. I have a 1998 Fazer 600. It has run fine until now. Whilst driving home my Indicators, Brake light and Instrument panel packed up. My Speedometer and Tachometer have also given up. I have checked the fuses and they are fine. Can any one point me in the right direction? Thanks bill

Picked up my new Fazer 600 S2 today. I had them fit a touring screen and Scottoiler dual injection before I picked it up. It runs very smoothly and the seating position is higher and more upright than the SV650S I had, which is just what I wanted. Lovely machine. Got home, waxed it, sprayed GT85 on all the metal bits, lowered the levers and took some free play out of the clutch and throttle. My Ride Reports from Spain have been a bit thin on the ground this year due to work commitments. But amazingly I had a free day.....so off I went to explore an area I'd never been to before....the Sierra de Pozo National Park. Going through Castril I encountered the remains of a Suzuki strewn everywhere! Closer investigation revealed it was the debris from my mate's DL1000....he recently rode over all the way from the UK, along with another mate on an R1200GS. Then he managed to break his foot 15 miles from my house! Being a good friend I retrieved the plastic cos I've still got his Strom (and the GS) in my garage and they went home by plane! Hi i am new here and need help. I bought my fzr250 import about 3 days ago, she hasn't been looked after so i have stripped her down and given her a fresh respray. However the exhaust is standard and has a hole in and rather than replace it with another standard exhaust i was wondering if anyone on here may have or help me source a nicer looking aftermarket one. It doesn't have to improve performance just after something nice. I was wondering if the exhaust of a fzr400 or 600 would bolt straight up? Please help Kind Regards Paul
