Hi guys im hoping somone can help i have recently upgraded from a pit bike to a DTR125, It starts and runs fine except one thing, when you pull off the engine wants to die sometimes it does sometimes it bogs down a bit then starts to accelerate, as soon as i am going about 5 miles an hour the problems stops and runs really well goes through all gears you can feel the power valve it is just when you get to a slow speed it wants to die. the worst is hill starts. it seems to get better after about an hour of running but hoping i can get thsi sorted. I dont know if it matters but it used to be a road bike all elctrics have been stripped and auto oil mixer removed too. …

Hey guys! Just joined the forum as I'm going to collect a Brand new YBR125 on the 23rd of this month. I have all of the gear and everything and just completed my CBT yesterday on a scooter as I turn 17 on the day I collect it. It wintered all over me from Glasgow to Edinburgh today! So, been thinking about comfying up my Divvy a bit and ensuring it survives the winter as I plan to use it as much as possible. Here's what I'm wanting.. 1) Crash Bars, tempting fate maybe, but they do the job. 2) Heated grips - essential hand mod! 3) Extra lights - not sure about this but I'll probably be doing a lot of night riding. Hey, I'm very new to this so please go easy on me. I have a 81' XS400 special II and cant find the diameter of the handle bars in my manual or online. I dont have a caliper, but I feel like they are 7/8" (using a tape measure). Just want to make sure. Any help? Thanks! David

ive fitted a leo vince zx exhaust on my yamaha aerox 50cc including the rollers and clutch springs which came with the exhaust, the rollers weigh 4.3g, im just woundering what size jet do i need to gain maximium performance as its really slow in accelerating upto 40mph then flys upto 60mph. help would me most appreciated.

My 1982 Virago has 22,000k and has never had any oil leaks until the last month or so. Leaks have begun around the outside of both front and rear cylinder head gaskets next to the crankcase. I have snugged up the 3, (three) allan screws on each side with no success. It has been suggested that there is increased pressure in the crankcase that has to be addressed. Is there a crankcase vent or other vent that may be plugged? All sources I have checked are vague on location etc. Any help will be appreciated.

I have been riding a Yamaha R-125 for around six months and passed my full direct access test Friday just gone. Having riden a 125 at 16 and a half stone i don't really get very far very quickly. my bike keeps acting as though its running out of fuel.i have changed or cleaned everything fuel related and still no change. the bike may run for 10 miles or half a mile before it does this and will only restart with the choke on hot or cold but will not rev.4 times this week i have stripped the bike down and getting frustrated with it. any ideas??????????

Hi, I have just bought an aerox with either a 70cc big bore or a 77cc not exactly sure, it was fitted by a garage and is still being run in by me so it does have a higher ratio of 2 stroke oil. My mates 50cc aerox will do 45mph however mine struggles to reach 40mph at the moment. It has been de-restricted and has a leo vinci tt exhaust. Any suggestions as to why..... it could just eb the higher ratio of 2 stroke oil. Thanks

Hi guys, just purchased a really great xvs1300 2007 model with all the bells and whistles. Ive noticed while riding that during gear changes (more so up shifting) that the blue high beam light pops on for a split second during the gear change. At night i see the lights flash high beam during the gear changes. I assume this is not normal for this bike. It has the extra spotties next to the headlight. Im thinking someone wired this up wrong even though it all works fine. Any ideas ?? Angelo
