Got another xmas pressie today; got into the top 10 in bike exif for 2011! 5. Drew's Yamaha XS400. It’s usually Yamaha’s XS650 that gets the custom treatment. But this sharp tracker from England, with an XS400 motor in an XS250 frame, proved that size isn’t everything. http://www.bikeexif.com/top-ten-motorcycles?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Bikeexif+%28Bike+EXIF%29

Special thanks to alexasigno for providing the forum which breaks down at the most inopportune times and all the regulars that just 'make it happen' Looking forward to a few days out with you again next year ...Paul

Any info on reducing the lean running of this bike, low revs almost means stalling. Changed the pipe and no difference, into the electronics we go! Info?

  9. Started by fieldarcher,

Have you given your yam a name? if so why? I call mine Marmite, it was suggested on this site I called it Winker, but that might have been a spelling mistake, LOL, So come on and lets us know.

Hi There everyone. As the bad weather stars to come in a problem i have allways had with my visor is it steaming up and wala in seconds i cant see a thing. Now i know about Pinlock inside visors but i just cant afford one. There is riding with it slightly open but then the wind hits my eyes to hard and i have to keep blinking and you loose the water seal at the top of the visor and as most helmets go the ventelation system is... well crap. I currently have a basic Nitro skid lid and ive never owned an expencive one so i dont know if mor expensive visors work better but i cant afford one. Hi there, just wandered if anyone can help me? I have a 1988 DT125r that has been sat in my garage for 3 years and not run? Now i need to get it going and guess what, it won't go!! I took out the carb and cleaned that thoroughly aswell as cleaning the jets and the float bowl. I then cleaned the air filter out and put carb back in situe. I replaced the throttle cable as it was knackered. I put new gear oil in as a precaution then cleaned the fuel tank out and replaced it with clean petrol and oil. I then cleaned the fuel filter and replaced the entire fuel line aswell. I put a brand knew start button on it but for some reason it wont go!? There is a spark when i ki…

Hi, i went out to the garage the other day to finish up my project bike, bleed the brakes and what not, which is when i found that my rear Calliper was completely seized on the FZR. I either need to know what Calliper will fit on it (its an L reg bike) Or need to know if anyone is selling a like for like replacement? I'd like to be able to put an R6 brake on it, but don't know whether it will fit.. It has a lot more power than it would of as standard so yeah want to update it but not worried if i can't. Cheeeeers Best off to email me on [email protected]

  20. Hi everyone. When I first start the bike in neutral and put it into gear the bike stalls( clutch is in and so is the kick stand). I first thought it was the kick stand switch not working properly--I had that cleaned off and looked at seemed fine. Still I experience this problem and I am not sure what it is. I'm not sure if it's a clutch issue or something else. When its warmed up after riding I can put it into gear just fine. Another issue I've noticed is when I'm downshifting the bike will have a hard time going into first, it sometimes will get stuck in neutral and I'll have a hard time getting it back into first. Has anyone experienced something like this befo…
