HI!

My names Paul but everyone normaly calls me Mellon (its my surname). I'm completly new to bikes but have just bought a cracking YBR125 ready to go for when i get my provisional through the door, try my hardest at the CBT and lay down some insurance :). Gotta say though i'm a little nervous since my dad (life long biker) fills me with countless horror storys of what happens if you dont get it right. (I'm pretty glad he's around to help me with this though).

So... A little bit about me. I'm 23 years old, a bit of a gamer, and like music. I live in Teeside and i'm joining because i know theres gonna be allot to learn and other than my dad i may have some extra backup, who knows maybe ill be helping someone else out one day :) but until then, go easy on the new guy :P

Cheers for reading, take care! :D

Welcome!!

Gamerz!!

I'm messing around with a load of 'em myself.

Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Freelancer, Thief, Tomb Raider, A:CM & AVP, Diaspora ... mostly singleplayer stuff, but I occasionally go online.

Console only, or do you go for the PC ones as well?

Never had a good enough PC for gaming although i do go a bit overboard with the console games from time to time. Recently played a game called The Last of Us for the PS3, honestly one of the best games i think i've played. Loved the Mass Effect series like! I heard the Dragon Age games are suposed to be good.

Been debating forking out for a decent PC/Laptop for a while for games like (and do a bit of video editing on the side). :)

Ignore the Laptop. Get a PC - You can upgrade easier (and cheaper), it will last longer and accomodate more future-proof components, as well as doing more at faster speeds with better performance. My comparatively old PC is a midi-tower, not even a dedicated gaming rig and yet it has specs that equal the new XBox One!

Dragon Age and Dragon Age: Awakenings are fantastic. I've played both about seven times, now!

DA2, not so popular, although fans of Mass Effect seem to get on with it well enough. Both Bioware, so similar interfaces in DA2.

However, DA is of similar ilk to Baldur's Gate, ie a combination of action/adventure and strategy roleplay, so there's lots of pointing and clicking at icons, tactics sets, opponents and things, kinda like Warcraft. Real Mouse & Keyboard stuff. This means it fuggin' SUCKS on a console. :(
