knew a guy years ago that had two triumph bonnies stolen from home, one after the other, so when the third one was bought it was stored as usual in the old wooden garage which happened to have a metal handle so when he locked garage at night he ran a wire from the mains via the live, onto a crocodile clip and onto the handle and left via a small side door. his bike was never stolen again modern rcd trip boxes would probably trip but it was old style bakalite fuses then.. worked for him !!

you are right in what you say !!! what i started doing last night was washing things like jackets that i have not worn for a week or so as they are stinking of stale smoke i never noticed it before i am still stopped,,, had a couple of shaky moments but hanging in there especially now that i realise i was walking around like a " right smelly stinker " i can now watch all the smokers at work standing outside in the pissing rain while i stay in the warm staff room.. so the incentive is now = £200 quid extra a month and not a smelly stinker and dont get soaked at lunch time

i did what you were planning. i went up 2 teeth on the front which was great on downhill sections but made 5th non existant. so i ended running about in 4th usually at high revs which destroyed the point of going up 2 teeth to help drop the revs at full throttle so ended up putting the standard 16 tooth back on and put up with being sluggish on long climbs this is on a xvs 125 generally it is ok,, just when you get a long drawn out hill

have been walking around with a pencil as a substitute fag since yesterday, probably end up with lead poisoning !!! anyway someone at work told me today to go to the chemist on the way home and get free patches ,, so i did ,, the pharmacist gives you a small interview and checks my carbon dioxide output on a wee machine then gave me enough patches for 2 weeks. so the idea is that i go back to see her in 2 weeks time and if all is ok i will get the lower dose patches for the next 2 weeks.. all free of course do not know if you can get the same in england , as everyone gets free prescriptions here ( just because we are special ) so between the patch on my arm my pencil substitute and a bit of willpower, time will tell

I always do the trip meter method roughly 130 miles from brimmed with fuel sometimes wait till the last drop before reserve sometimes fill up with half a tank,, depends where i am going if i know there are not many petrol stations about or it is late at night and the local ones are closed ( rural ones seem to do office hours )

petrol has been bought in recent years without much thought we put our trust in individual service stations to have clean tanks and our only choice is whether to have super unleaded or standard unleaded.. now we are going to have to keep an eye on the pumps to see what we are putting in just like the old days I used to run my bikes on 2 star. and my car on either 4 or 5 star the car would not run on 2 star very well ( toyota celica ) looks like we are going back to having a choice of pumps again !!!

I would think that you are cutting it really fine on your weight,, loads of small independant companies about that would shift it for you ,,think you would be surprised for how little as well.
