A study from an insurance underwriting firm, Equity Red Star has suggested that people who ride motorcycle's are 23% less likely to have a claim in a car than those who don't own a motorcycle. http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-news--general-news/motorcyclists-23-better-behind-the-wheel-of-a-car/23971.html There's a bit of debate in office as to whether this is because bikers are better drivers or whether they just use their car 23% less. Personally, I think it's a bit of both. What do you think?

Think it's the coldest morning so far this winter, just arrived home from work. Luckily I've borrowed a nice toasty Furygan jacket from my old man, kinda as payment for storing his bike for the winter! Thought I'd just say I hope everyone's safe out there this morning!

Just put the deposit down on this beast. Brand new bike, 2 years warranty. What can go wrong? From now on its trouble free, smooth riding. I can finally put the XT in the back of my friends garage and leave it there until I can be arsed putting a new engine in it, then sell it in the spring/summer.

Hey guys, I finally got my motorbike delivered about an hour ago ( ) but my main stress at the moment is securely locking it. I live in a closed compound with an onsite car park (with a ramp road block system), and I am parking my bike in my bay, but there's nothing to lock my bike to to secure it, and the disc lock I have for it doesn't fit through the front disc either (I have the Fahgettabout chain and that D lock doesn't go through it either). So at the moment, the only peace of mind I've got is a chain going around it, that doesn't actually lock to anything. I've asked if I can park it next to a lamppost to secure it, but my car park is patrolled by wa…

Well, we all know what happens when you mix foamy + alcohole + Ebay = some thing well last night after drinking a fair bits of whiskey i find out that im now picking up a new project next tuesday Its a little 50cc twist and go and is all in bits, cant remember the make of it but it has all the bits there and a V5, the engine turns over by hand which is a good sign but he cant rememebr when it last run or if its still does. But i did get it for a nice price of £35! So if i can get it running and back together with very little money i could see a nice profit, but if the motor is fooked then im taking it to the scrap yard and should get a bit of profit that way, eit…

I'm facing a slight seat dilemma, the more I stare at the sr seat the more I want to burn it, just so horrible like who would design such a thing?! Basically I'm looking for a seat a bit like Thin and just like this, simple plain black, cheap too hopefully, can anyone direct me in the right place? Don't know how long I can last with the current seat ugh!! I've already had a brief look and can't seem to find much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well the bikes been in the garage for two weeks, supposedly waiting on parts. It's not even back on the road yet and I'm stressing out over it. Same old shit. Wonder what 'other problems' they have come across while doing a simple job. It can't be more than two hours labour and the price of the gear shaft which is what, about 60/70 quid?

The bulb in my XVS1100 blew the other week. I picked up a cheapy replacement and it blew almost straight away. It was only £1.99 from The Range, so I put it down to being a cheap and nasty bulb, and the bike being a thumper, the vibrations. Bought a decent one (OSRAM Night Racer Plus H4). This lasted a day before breaking (both main and dipped). I have of course been ultra careful when fitting them to not touch the glass etc. Fitted a 3rd bulb and will see what happens, Is there something else I should be looking at? Thanks.
