Hi All, was searching for info on my latest ride, 87 FZR 1000RR, (Re-Named "The BEAST") and came across this site, So here I am, Have not had such a Ride, (or SCARE) since I first got on a bike, It goes like a Rocket Sled on Rails ... Have not been on a bike for a while, but i went down to Sydney and road back to Townsville on it.. 2065 k's of PURE PLEASURE, although it took me a couple of hundred k's to get used to it ..(Read: TAME the Bloody thing Will probably harrass some of you if I need help sorting anything out. I'm 41 live in blackpool and ride my 535 virago when ever I can,biggrin.gif Alls well in Blackpool, been out on my baby today and shes running sweet, went out with the misses for dinner and she well happy now that our baby is running again, means we can go out next wkend to a rally rolleyes.gif , I'm going down to Oxford tomorrow on her to lay flowers for my mum as its been 7years sad.gif ,so I will look in when i get back, hope all that was out today on what ever machine you own had a safe journey cool.gif ,girlfriends got her driving test tomorrow told her that if she passes that I will buy her a bike and put her in for her bike test,so please all of you out there send…

Hey guys, so ive just brought my 1st bike, and will probably seem really funny to you gys witht the big bikes! Just brought a Yamaha XF50 Giggle Its a nice looking bike and im really happy with it! I dont know anyone else with a giggle (even typing it makes me smile!) and let alone a girl, as most the people with scooters/bikes in my area are kids. So just saying hi!

I just bought a 1999 WR 400 and it is a B#$%H to crank I have tried rolling the throttle a couple of times since the previous owner told me it had a carb pump then getting it just past top dead center using the compression release choking it, and kicking and kicking and kicking there has got to be something that will make this thing crank a little easier. What is the red choke button for? I have been using the black one? thanks for anyone willing to answer, anybody want buy an otherwise nice 400?

I'm new to biking and have just ordered a new FZ6 as my first real bike after passing my test. Would be grateful for any advice on running in the engine (rev limits etc) and scrubbing in new tyres. Also, as the bike will be mainly used as a get-to-work-weapon (about 50 miles a day) what is the feeling regarding scottoilers? hi there, its been a while since ive posted, but my computer has been down. anyway, i am trying to do some work on my xs500, namely the fork seals need replacing. However, the maintenance stand is not tall enough to allow the front wheel to be removed so that I can remove the fork assembly. I am working by myself, and do not have access to a second pair of hands to help me lift the bike up onto some kind of blocks. any suggestions as to how i might manage to jack the bike up without damaging it or myself? I tried using a car floor jack and some boards/jack stands, but it was just too unstable to allow any real work to be done. i had to balance the bike with on…
