Since i share all my jokes in the pub i thought i would bring them here:- THINGS NOT TO SAY TO THE POLICE I can't reach my license unless you hold my beer. Sorry officer, I didn't realize my radar detector wasn't plugged in I thought you had to be in relatively good physical shape to be a police officer I was going to be a policeman, but I decided to finish school instead Aren't you the bloke from the villiage people? Is it true that people become Policemen because they are too dumb to work at McDonalds? Well, when I reached down to pick up my bag of crack, my gun fell off of my lap and got lodged between the handlebars and the thr…

im new to this forum obviously. But i have a 1993 Yamaha xj600s Seca II. i cant get any spark in the plugs. I have tested everything electrical on the bike and still come up short for an answer to why there is no spark. i have concluded that i think its the TCI box. But the only way to test one basically is to hook the TCI box up to a running bike and see if the running bike still gets spark. i need to find someone who has this bike in or around the Phoenix, AZ area so i can test my two TCI boxes and make sure there bad before i make an investment in a new box. Anyone who helps gets 20 bucks, and ill drive to you. Thanks Alot. Derek.

Hi, I'm lance. live up near carlisle up north, 23, and own a 2007 r6, (well, getting a 2008 one next week!) Have had a few bikes, from a little DT50, then a suzuki dr350 through to a Fzs fazer 600, a cbr 600, and the latest is my r6. By far the best bike i've owned, much lighter and more agile than the older cbr. anyway just saying hi, no doubt speak to everyone in hear at some time! will be out in the summer too, normally hit hartside pass, if anyone else on here is ever out and about that way.

Has anyone used Scottoiler FS 365 Protector? Is it as good as it says? How often has it got to be applied? I use my bike everyday no matter what the weather. Any info will be very much appreciated.

Got taken out in the fog at 20mph today (weds 13) by myopic pesioner waiting till the last minuite to pull out in front of me....nuff said. broken collar bone and damage all down LH side of 2006 R1.(didnt make its 1st bday on Mar 1) THIS IS THE CRUCIAL BIT..........WILL PROBABLY END IN A LAW SUIT. (HOPE NOT) A fellow 06 R1 owner had an almost identical spill on a roudabout last April. His bike went down on the RH side and cost thick end of £1000 to replace: clutch cover, side panel, air intake, seat unit, top faring, screen, brake lever, mirror, indicator etc... At the time he had no pillion pegs fitted, (so they did not dig in and damage rear subframe). a…

  19. Started by bazza,

I've recently bought an 02 R6 with only 3k on the clock, all original and no tell tale signs of excessive hard riding. I have put about 300 miles on it and twice now (only twice) at hard acceleration it has jumped out of gear, part of me feels if there was a problem it would happen far more often another part feels that there must be something wrong. Is it possible for the rider to not quite put it in gear solidly enough so it does jump out at high revs or is it a case of if it's in it's in and shouldn't come out? Any help would be good. Bazza

Hi folks: I'm hoping to dust down my old jacket etc and get back out on 2 wheels after a spell of 9 years of not biking. I've recently bought an old 1987 YX600 Radian as a project to work on, so that hopefully I will be able to get back out on the road by the summer. I need a few parts and am having difficulty in locating them - if anyone can help me, i'd be most grateful - the bits that I need are: - Front brake master cylinder - Front brake light switch - The Rubbers which sit between the carbs and the airbox - Fuel Tap Seal Kit Fingers crossed! Hope you can help. Many thanks, Steve.
