Just had a laugh with Bennetts (it's all about the bike!) Insurance whilst trying to insure and old V75a. I know not very glamorous but thought it would be easy to insure as they are a "bike" specialist, but how wrong was I! They have earlier and later models but not mine, guy went off to the underwriters for a couple of minutes and came back and asked if it was blue or red? It's neither, it's orange (very 70's) and ok well we can't insure it. Granted, orange is not the best colour but surely that's colourist? There should be a law against that?!! Does anybody know a bike friendly insurer out there? Ally ps bet the dutch will be piss…

Hiya guys n gals...could I possibly pick your brains here for a moment? My R6 is currently shod in Michelin Pilot Sports tyres..... backs wearing a tad low now so Im thinking of sorting replacements...whats your thoughts on these tyres? Dunno whether to stick to the same or whether you reckon something else is better. I dont commute on this bike, purely a fair weather biker on this Any thoughts / recommendations appreciated..

Hi, I ride a Thundercat, been riding since I was 17, started of on a Honda CBR125r, at 18 bought a 97 Thundercat. Im riding a 55 Honda CBR 600f while my bike is getting repaired after a car decided to use me as his brakes. The damage came to an estimated 1800 quids worth, was hoping for a write off so I could take advantage of the Yamahas 0% finance and purachase a new R6 but I'll be happy to get my bike back! Im a member of superbike forums, don't know if any one on here is?

hi there i have tried most places and had no luck so this is my last resort, i have a 99' fazer 400 and ever since the heavy frost i have been experiencing an intermitant lack of power which is accompanied by a noise (like someone is putting their hand over the airfilter intake) along with irratic speedo readings. When this happens the bike will only rev to about 2000rpm thus i cannot get out of first gear and can only do about 10mph with the bike backfiring as well. Also if i put an indicator on the power comes and goes with the flashing of the indicator.(So this suggests electrical rather than carburattion) I have had the bike for 3.5 years now and this is the only fau…

hi everyone. just a quick question i got a yamaha DT50MX, for its size it is a heavy bike and has knobbly tires, i usually drop to 3rd gear for cornering, about 25mph. how far can i go over (lean) before the tyres let go? (and they are brand new knobblies) on dry tarmac on a good day. i tried getting my knee down a few months ago on my sisters pushbike and ended up in somebodies garden with my jeans ripped and a lot of skin missing from my right knee, ever since then ive been a bit aprehensive about really going over incase i end up on my arse again

what do you think, i think it looks the nuts!!! love to get my hands on one.

Just had half of my new tat done last night. I would have liked it finished but he didnt have enough time so i've had to settle for half! Rest will be done mid Feb . Its going to come all the way up my leg to my thigh and needs colour. Im running out of skin now
