I was in the pub the other night, telling the old joke about what to do if an epileptic has a fit in the bath..... throw your washing in! when a guy behind me tapped me on the shoulder, and said that he didn't find that funny, because his cousin was an epileptic and had indeed died in the bath. "Drowned?" I asked "No, choked on a sock!" --------------------------------------------------------- Two couples on holiday in Newquay. The husbands, Paul and Dave decide to try and get thier ladie's to too wife swap. Amazingly they agree but Paul knows his wife is on her time of the month so he has got one up on his mate Dave. They agree that at breakfast they'll tap on …

Hi, I have removed a Meta alarm from my 98 R1 as it has recently failed and I had been unable to unset it with the key fobs. I could reset by counting the led's but this was becoming a real pain. I have reset the remotes in the past via the supplied procedure but this time it just would not reset. So i decided to remove it and now it will not start or least not stay started, despite me tracing all the wires back into the original loom and re connecting where appeared appropriate. The thing is it will start up on the starter button BUT as soon as the starter button is released it stops. So if I was to ride along with the starter button pressed it would probably be OK…

Banned from ASDA, didn't like shopping there anyway Yesterday I was at my local ASDA buying a large bag of Purina dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had - an elephant? So, since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again. I added that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up in hospital last time, but that I'd lost 2 stones before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that …

Hi guys and girls. I have just joined the forum after passing my CBT last Sunday. I bought mysel a virago xv 125 and CBT as a package to finally get around to learning to ride a bike after 20 years of dreaming about it. I have been having tons of fun learning and it's every bit as good as I hoped. I'm from North of Scotland and looking forward to chatting to you all.

Hi, I have a question regarding the 250 US Custom. How do I check the oil level? I know where the filler cap is but I have no idea how to check the oil. I also have no idea how much oil it should have. If I had an instruction book that would be a start! As my name suggests I am a bit green when it comes to bikes and would appreciate any help or advice that I could get on this bike

A Cow, an Ant and an Old Fart A Cow, an Ant and an Old Fart are debating on who is the greatest of the three of them. The Cow: I give 50 liters of milk every day and that's why I am the greatest!! The Ant: I work day and night, summer and winter, I can carry 52 times my own weight and that's why I am the greatest!! Why are you scrolling down? It's your turn to say something...
