Well, it has come to the 11th November again and I'm sure all our hearts and minds are with all those in the armed forces, past and present. I thought I'd start the topic off by posting a picture of my buddy Paul, 3 Commando Brigade, Royal Marines, who is serving today. Hi all I have looked but can't seem to find any info on this. I have just picked up a Virago 535 1997 and want to service it, in the hand book it say's use sae 20w40 or sae 10w30 api se or sf I would like to use semi sin as have been told this is better for the engine but will the wet clutch slip ? so in short can I use semi sin or stick with the hand book ? Hope all this makes sense Many thanks Dave

Hi i am looking at a Yamaha DT 125R trouble is it needs a bit of work and i dont know anything about motorcycle mechanics is there anyone here in the Taunton area that would be willing to lend a hand and could do the work that would be great. I think the bike needs a new gearbox so not sure if it is a big job then it needs a service and a bit of a smarten up and we should be rocking if any one is interested then email me [email protected] cheers Tony.

hi to all. had my dtr afew weeks now seems wenim in higher gearrs that ther isnt as much power unless im thrashing it at 8000 revs. this is my first bike is it normal? cheers lookin forward to hearing from somebody with a bit more knowleadge that me lol

Hi all just passed mod 2 and loose on the road at last ) Just picked up new bike Yamaha virago 535 1997 with 3k on it, been in a garage for 10 years unmoved. rode it 120 miles home with no problems. service in the morning then off for a nice long ride. Dave

Evenin all Im looking for some ideas what to get for me winter hack cause they dont grit these roads and id rather not drop me tdr even though its a shed to look at but ive grown quite found of her. Can anyone help with my centre stand dilemma?? Recently purchased an lc350 been in mates shed 20 years and anyway 3 grand later and loads of testicle ache...i decided to fit a centre stand...the bike has a metmachex alloy swinging arm and when i put the bike on the centre stand it dont lift the bloody back wheel off the floor?? does anyone know if these swinging arms make it impossible to be used with a mainstand??
