The number plate broke off my 125 Drag Star and it was held on with a metal bracket. I need to get a new bracket can anyone help as the local bike and scooter place has supplied me with the brakelight and idicator mount despite my son describing the bracket to him and confirming that it was not the mount that we needed! has anyone had any luck getting one of these ?

Hi everyone Just a quick post to say hello, I'm hoping to pick up an 81' DT 125 tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be full of stupid questions for the next while although looking at some of the excellent info on this forum hopefully there shouldn't be too many. I'm off to have a read and see if I can find some things to look out for when I view the bike, haven't had any dealings with a 2 stroke since I was about 15 and a Bultaco gave me a few bumps and bruises

Spotted a bike for sale locally that looked good in the pics & description raised no problems. Seller stated it had been bought as a track bike but had never been used as such. Was really well priced so I enquired why it wasn't for road use, seller replied saying it was a US import & had never been registered etc. Surely couldn't be hard to get it registered & through an mot? Anyone got experience in this area?

Hi all, I am considering buying a Yamaha Midnight Star XVS 950 cruiser motorbike but have one problem. I have seen in a lot of youtube videos the footboards scraping the ground when turning and this seems to be quite an issue with the bike. It doesn't have great ground clearance. However, there must be a way to stop this? I was wondering if there is anything you can get to add to the bike to stop this? Maybe some kind of small rollers to fit on the underside of the footboards to stop the scraping? Or some protective material to protect the actual metal from scraping? I am not keen on having to replace the footboards all the time! Any help?

Dr. Calvin Rickson, a scientist from Texas A&M University has invented a bra that keeps women's breasts from jiggling, bouncing up and down, and prevents the nipples from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in. At a news conference, after announcing the invention, a large group of men took Dr. Rickson outside and kicked the shit out of him.

Hi there everybody peeps Many sincere and abject apologies for my lengthy absence I've managed to get some time to myself on a borrowed PC as my "all singing, all dancing" Dell is still silently recalcitrant. Enough of the excuses My SR 250 is finally on the road and I have done about a 1000 miles relatively trouble free On the day I took it it for the test (1st Sept) the chain "jumped" the sprocket and I had to enlist the services of a mate to get it back on as I only have a sidestand fitted. (didn't think it was that slack) Anyway it sailed through MOT with flying colours, (red oxide primer actually) but the first serious ride out I lost the rear ligh…

Hi All, just a quick request, do any of you know where I can get spares from for my XJ750 UK spec, I really need a new (replacement) loom/wiring harness as the one I have on the bike has been attacked by a gorilla with a crimp tool and no brain, bought one from EBAY and it turned out to be a USA spec one which is ok but half the terminals are different as they have lighting and ignition differences to the UK. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Martin.
