Hi all, Newbie here although owned my 93 YZF750R for about 11 years. I've just noticed that the paintwork has started to bubble on the side of the tank - 3 or 4 of the blighter's. I can only assume that this will get worse so the sooner I deal with it the better. The Tank is currently plain grey and black (looks to be very slightly metallic black). Any advice, thoughts recommendations, experiences on getting the tank re-sprayed - I want it as original as possible. The rest of the bike is in very good condition. Are there Yamaha approved paintshops with original paint codes etc? Any help appreciated Dunc

Its nothing to do with bikes. But! Went out tonite with my youngest for an adventure, hot flask, tow rope, and some basics like a spade, hi viz torch etc to traverse the big hill. Nothing special 99% of the year just a steep hill although its steep in steps for probably half a mile, till it snows. Then only the brave and the stupid take it on. Well take your pick, thats where myself and my youngest were heading basically to give the 4wd system on the rangy a work out to keep it sweet. Well we saw headlights pointing up on one of the steeper parts going nowhere so put pants on the outside and speed to assist. Only to see a focus coming DOWN the hill . It ca…

T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE, MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE. I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY, WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO, IN THIS HOME, DID LIVE. I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE. NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES, OF FAR DISTANT LANDS. WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT, CAME THROUGH MY MIND. FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY. THE SOLDIE…

Just think its usefull to pass these things on-so other peeps can pass it on to their Nana for example, or any other vulnerable types PLEASE PASS ON TO YOUR FRIENDS & FAMILY. I received a call from a 'representative' of BT, informing me that he was dis-connecting me because of an unpaid bill. He demanded payment immediately of £31.00, or it would be £ 118.00 to re-connect at a later date. The guy wasn't even fazed when I told him I was with Virgin Media, allegedly VM have to pay BT a percentage for line rental! I asked the guy's name - he gave me the very 'English' John Peacock with a very 'African' accent - & phone number - 0800 0800 152 0800 0800 1…

Hi All! Just joined as I have purchased a 2007 R1 with 1500km's on the clock...have not taken possession or signed for anything yet!!! The bike was bought from a parallel importer/dealer in Johannesburg, I have been warned that it could possibly be an engine restricted model...especially if it comes from California. The bike definitely comes from the States...but where exactly in the States who knows? I have been guaranteed from the dealer (large and reputable) that it is not a restricted model and not from California...but an angel on my shoulder is saying "are you sure?" Can anyone help me with what I should look for? I have heard stories about black motors…

watch these cheeky bloody sand N*****s -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE LEAVING THE CHECK-OUT I bought a bunch of stuff, over £150, & I glanced at my receipt as the cashier was handing me the bags. I saw a cash-back of £40. I told her I didn't request a cash back & to delete it. She said I'd have to take the £40 because she couldn't delete it. I told Her to call a supervisor. Supervisor came & said I'd have to take it. I said NO! Taking the £40 would be a cash advance against my Credit card & I wasn't paying in…
