  1. you are looking at the wrong place. you should be looking for parts in www.ebaymotors.de , then type "yzf 750". If you really want one pipe, i can sell you mine. it does not fit my fzr1000 engine, so its basicly free for a quote. let me know. its the complete yzf 750 r header (downpipes, exup etc without the stock end can). condition good, no dents, exup works smooth. ill give you the exup cables with the pipe.
  2. why would you need an oem header? theres plenty of them for sale at e-bay etc. hell... even i have one at my garage and it shure as hell wont cost 500£, shipping included
  3. oem pipes, and high race applications have them. they are the mounting points for lambda-sonds. if you would really like to tune in your bike, youd get four bosch lambdas, and a proper meter and then tune every carburator individually.
  4. no. with the stroke of the yzf 750 engine, youd have to bore right out of the cylinderblock  only way you could do it would be boring out max, and then increasing stroke... which is highly not recommended of several, very expencive reasons
  5. actually... the standard yzf750 was an quite relaxed sportsbike even back in 93 when introduced. just put it into standard trim and you should be fine
  6. 94 was the year Yamaha bought Öhlins, but the rebuildable, genuine öhlins type shocks haven´t been standard in any, but a very few (96?) built yzf750sp´s
  7. they´d have to build an 1000 cc turbocharged, ultimate sportsbike with all Öhlins suspension, carbon fairings and utter stunning looks. basicly in the same way that the Suzukis B-King consept bike, but with full fairing. anything above 200bhp will do with under 0.8 bar turbo pressure
  8. jep. it looks a lot like that. BUT it is most likely the original rearshock of yzf. does it say Öhlins type 46 on it anywhere? it should! the org yzf shock has yellow spring and gold colored outside addjustment as well as ohlins. the original yzf one can not be rebuilt, but i have heard that some race-mechanics can open up the original and rebuild it. the standard motorcycle shops will not do that. if you only could post an pic of your shock, ill tell you right away if its an genuine ohlins or not.
  9. hey whos the no 18? rides an MotoFrance yamaha?
  10. i´ll list Saarinen i´ve got an old poster of him (posters got to be at least 20years old), where his riding his black and red painted RD350 with matching leathers. ill list: Rossi Saarinen Roberts Doohan Rainey
  11. i have an feeling that you are one of they gay people... ban please
  12. have to say that perhaps the only reason i would never buy an bike that has wisecos or other bigbore kit in is that i havent made it! theres about a thousand ways to get it wrong. i still cant say that mines all right as i have only ridden about 150 miles so far, but at least i know what im doing to the engine. general agreed principles in buying an used bike are these: 1. no dodgy wires/connections or missing electrics. you are going straight for trouble 2. no reasent engine jobs, rather no enginejobs at all, unless you are 110% shure whats been done, and why. everything else comes after those two. reason? engine and electics are basicly your bike. all else can be repaired easely and without much money.
  13. dont like em. as someone said, they were cool in the 80´s. besides i cant be arsed to paint wheels every 2000 miles when rennsports wear out
  14. Becourse I Can? No but seriously mate. your bike hasnt sounded like a peace of crap, so dont change it to one!
  15. sound´s a bit odd. i do not trust deals that doesnt involve money. someone is going to take a piss without bucks
  16. Nice one! I haven´t seen one ever. I dont think they have imported it here?... or it could be that i have missed that one
  17. WHOOA i just got the bike running again and i´ll tell you that a perfect set of wisecos in a freshly bored cylinder sound goooooood!!! it lifts rew´s from idle to 3th instantly. absolutely no hesitation at all. and it has never done that. amazing we´ll have an bike meet this weekend so this project will stay in the shed for at least 3 days more, but on sunday im planning to give it the first sunlight in 10months man i cant wait
  18. 2-peace. you dont look that ridiculous. unless you want the biggest HUMP in tha neighborhood
  19. Now I really like your thinking
  20. ROSSI RULES!! two yamahas at podium. i think that well have an new hero for our beloved yamaha since Checa is right on it.
  21. the guys here have been buying those like cracy!! comments of it have been divided. it has an good engine. but the low price means that suspension is shait and brakes arent that good. also the minifairing does not work at speeds above 120kmh so one can do the math. im not going to buy one of those.... perhaps the zx636r....

    EXUP

aah.. i didnt really read your first post..... (give you some addvise for begginners.. sorry). the german ebay is great with exup parts. anything can be found. and true that about the valve issue. if you check them often enaugh, you are not going to have valve trouble. and its not that big thing to check in the spring before season opening.
  23. i know a guy rode 10 ironbutt rides on one r6 so comforts´gotta bee good now seriously there is limited possibilities to add comf to it. one is to add an corbin saddle (yöööhhh)... whish looks in my oppinion not good at all and then tuning the suspension to minimum damping. you can also get new trippleclamps and add an motocross handlebar to it. big difference there. but its actually not going to be comfy anyway so go on and buy an xj for travelling purposes and leave the r6 to what it does best... and big congratulations for the bike!
  24. ahahah. we are haveing a serious discussion on one of finn-forums about honda cbr´s as well, as 9 of the 2003 model cbr600´s have blown their engine. it doesnt sound like much but if i guess that 2-300 new cbrs were sold in finland, thats about 5% of them blow their engine before 5t miles....
  25. i think that he was bloody lucky as well. that looked like one can not survive it!! i think the kwak looks have not improved this year. the last year model was perhaps the most avesome looking GP machine but now they have gone to the ducati type styling with the front. dont like it. dont like the duce either.
