  1. find your bike on the parts lists, get part number go to dealer , order part ., go home go back to dealer a few days later collect part , part with moneyto pay for it , go home fit part, after all tis 2013 so the older secon dhand parts will not match the colour, and it will look a right mess a diferent colour, if you buy a secondhand one and get it sprayed the chances of it matching are not good and it will probably cot more than the new one http://parts.yamaha-motor.co.uk/ypec_b2c/

  2. Hi all, Just registered, first post! Cylindric- How are you getting on with your new XJ6? Traded in my trusty 03 Bandit (kept for over 8 years) for a new black XJ6-N yesterday at the Motorbike shop, Farnborough. Had a long ride on their test machine around Ash/Guildford/Woking and loved it. Going to be used mainly for commute between Guildford and Addlestone. Cheers Tezza

  3. I'd go for the 250 for a while. Going from no bike to 600cc in the time it takes to get your direct access might be too much. As Dirty DT says, it only goes as fast as you twist the throttle, but a small blip of a 600cc throttle is a lot more power than a small blip of a 125 throttle. You might want to get a bit more road wise before you take on a 180mph sports bike.
