Hi There. I'm a new 650 dragstar owner and i have recently bought a windshield from Highway Hawk. The thing has arrived but hasnt got any instructions. Its got 4 "L" shaped bars and four brackets. I am at a bit of a loss as to the correct way to fit it. Has anyone had a similar screen and could they help with some instructions or even a photo that i could copy? Regards AB

We finally got a Yamaha Raider into our R&D Dept. at Corbin Saddles, after receiving numerous requests and calls these past couple of weeks. I just wanted to drop on by and let all of you know, you can expect to see a product line-up similar to that of what we offer for the V-Star 1300. Including, but not limited to : Fairing / MP3 Player , Hard Bags, Chin Spoiler, and of course, the same top quality Saddles we've led the industry with for so many years. Any questions or requests can be directed to Corbin.com, or to me personally at [email protected]. Thanks, -Ryan. A Few pics of the bike in R&D : And out Concept Drawing of our Fle…

Just sold my car,and am looking to learn to ride a bike, the future in personal transport as I see it well for me it is anyway.I want an xvs 125 as my first bike and have about a grand to spend,is this a reasonable amount for one of these bikes,or should I save more? I know it all depends on condition, mileage etc,but would just like to know if I should be looking for a bike now,as I am transportless,or perhaps wait a bit until I get some more cash.Condition, well,as long as it goes and is all there is my interest.

Well how are things, Name is Luimni, from Ireland, been riding my XVS650 for about a year now and loving her to bits (well not quite bits but she needs some TLC and a good service - any day now i promise) Good to see a 'Star' orientated forum but it seems kinda slow at the moment somehow as it doesnt reflect the amout of dragstar/v star etc owners out there. This forum must be a well kept secret. What are ye hiding.....come on tell me... Weather getting worse here, havent even had a decent Summer so it was nearly all rain gear this year, god damn it.. Recently decieded to cut some weight off the bike, i took off the saddlebags, back seat and windshield and now…

Hi folks. I'm using my mates Dragstar 1100 for a bit and the clutch is slipping. Bugger. So I'm going to have to put a new one in. Anyone done one before? Where's the cheapest place to get the bits, plates, springs, etc? Any advice gratefully recieved. While I'm here, do they normally sound like the bottom end is about to disintergrate? This ones done 35K plus with some big lads on it. It pulls well, doesn't smoke and has just been MOT'd. I can't tell if its fcuked or if it's just that I'm not used to V twins! PS. Sorry about the rain, its my fault cos Ive just taxed the bike.
