I've previously posted this stuff on another forum . . . but I thought I'd share some pics from last year's Margate 2 Monaco trip (the long way) we did on 50cc 'peds. I'm not sure if 'The Bar' is the right forum for this - or whether it should go in the 'Rideouts' bit. Apologies if I've posted in the wrong place. We went west rather than east so we could take in Paris, a trip around the Le Mans circuit (in the pouring rain) and break the trip with a day off at my place here in Limousin. In a very, very wet April 2012 we raised over £30,000 for Brad's Cancer Foundation doing John O' Groats to Land's End (please see: http://www.facebook.com/JOGLE4BRADS ) - we had so…

  4. opens 9am on both days at the Stafford County Showground. Guest of honour motorsport champion John Surtees will bring two historic machines with him; the MV Agusta which won the 1956 500 world championship, and his 1964 F1-winning Ferrari. Very rare opportunity to see both machines and the man himself all in the same place at once. Plus all the usual show attractions including extensive concours displays, Bonhams auction, Wall of Death, Classic Dirt Bike experience and trials display, hundreds of trade and autojumble stalls and club stands. Admission £13 on the day so best to prebook for discounted tickets (also saves some queuing). Free car parking

  5. Hi all, I haven't been able to update this until now, but my wife and I are well into our RTW on our Super Tenere, from Zambia to raise awareness and funding for our Zambia Sports Academy for Orphans. Due to the length of the information, I am not able to post here all that happened, but if any of you would like to check our blog you can go to: www.nomadsportsacademy.blogspot.com You will see tons of photos and info and how the bike is performing so far after crossing Africa and a lot of Europe from Istanbul to Gibraltar. The more people check the blog the better for our purpose to raise awareness for our orphans. More info can also be obtained on…

  9. Well it is 2014, Squires seems to still be for sale. There is no updated info yet on the annual 2 stroke rally - I know it is a little early. It seems that for 2014 they are going to charge for bike and tent camping. The questions are; Are we holding on for Squires to see what happens? Are we going to tag along to a different event? Are we going to start something new? Should we just not be bothered? There were 13/14 of us at Squires last year, I know that some were day trippers and some won competitions on a 4 banger but I just thought I would mix it up and ask. It may mean a different location or time of year. All we need is something similar. Any thoughts? …
