Am i the only one on here who gets annoyed at the 'I posted yesterday and nobody botherd line' it seems to be on the up and really gets up my nose. I don't live on the bloody keyboard i dip in through the week and have a bit of a blast on the weekend. Thing is some of the answers can take quite a while, i generally only deal with the aircooled DT stuff cos thats what i know well but even then sorting through drawings and searching the web for the answers takes time even though you have a good idea where to look. The icing on the cake is how many times have been and gone where you spend maybe an hour sometimes sorting out somebody's post and then nothing. Don't remem…

For the past week,(august 2009) the phrase “white people stole my car” has been Googled like crazy. Perplexingly, though, there were few results yielded by this popular search and most links lead to some fairly nasty malware. Finally, the above screenshot surfaced, which seems to at least solve the mystery of why the phrase was so popular on Google. As the screenshot above implies, Googling the term “white people stole my car” results in the search engine asking if black people stole my car. Well that’s… really not cool, Google! If you try this,It's been removed now.But but down the bottom of the search is..... why is there a dead pakistani on my couch

A young boy went up to his father and asked "What's the difference between potentially & realistically?" The father ponders for a moment, then answered "Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Robert Redford for a million quid and also ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million quid, then come back and tell me what you learned." So the boy went to his mother and asked "Mum would you sleep with Robert Redford for a million quid?" The Mother replied "Definitely, I wouldn't pass an opportunity like that." The boy then went to his older sister and asked "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million quid?" The girl re…

A lot of folks can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in our country. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low. The reason for that is purely geographical. Our OIL is located in The North Sea Our DIPSTICKS are located in Westminster!!!

While I was driving down the A40 the other day, (going a little faster than I should have been) I passed under a bridge only to see a copper on the other side with a radar gun laying in wait. The copper pulled me over, walked up to the car, and with that classic patronising smirk asked: "Runway too short?" To which I replied: "I'm late for work." To which he asked: "What do you do?" I responded: "I'm a rectum stretcher" The copper was surprised and confused : "A rectum stretcher, and just what does a rectum stretcher do?" "Well," I said, "I start by inserting one finger, then I work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then …

Fuck all to do with bikes (well long term it is) but don't you hate having to rely on others. I will be getting my garage converted to a bedroom so over the last 2 weeks I took time off work in order to build a new workshop. Firstly my back garden is a 1 in 4 slope so I had a load of digging out to do to clear an area 3m x 3m. Got it all done, put down some shuttering and ordered 2 tonne of hardcore last thursday with a friday delivery date. I also spoke with the guy who'll be doing my garage conversion and he tells me he'll get concrete organised for tuesday (today). Well the friggin hardcore didnt arrive until this morning along with a pile of excuses, and I had to work…

Got this in an e-mail thought you lot might like it... What Do Retired People Do All Day? Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and said, 'Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.. I called him a turd. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tyres. So my wife called him a sh#t-head. He finished the sec…

Does any body have any experience with Rex Judd? A week ago I put my Dragstar 125 in for a M.O.T. and a service, on booking it in (almost a month before) I told them that the front tyre will need changing, so they said O.K. and told me it would still be done in one day. Six days later I'm still waiting for it, the guy said he had to order me a Dunlop as it matches the back now when I spoke to them today the guy said he could get a Pirelli and have it done for my tomorrow. To be honest I think they have been really sh*t with communication and without me chasing them I'm sure I could still be waiting next week! Has anybody else had similar with them? Who thinks I should…
