  1. Watched it last night. Typical Tarentino movie. Hopper looked great. Brilliant movie. The review is definatly better than I can express.
  2. Wow!!! So glad I do all mine myself. Less than a third of that....
  3. to the forum matey. Enjoy your stay here. Friendly peeps on here, bit of banter occasionaly but nothing serious. Have fun.
  4. Burn baby burn!!!! I just think of the pain... A friend of mine was knocked off wearing just shorts, tshirt and trainers...after he came round from his coma, they then started to scrub all the grit and stones out of his arms and legs. Upon asking why they waited for two weeks (the length of his coma) to perform this task..they replied that they wanted him to suffer so he wouldnt do it again........
  5. Last year, 2003 XJ900s Diversion.....£3400.....Just so you didnt miss it yes £3400 fully comp with all the trimmings....oh and that little thing they wrote on my certificate in pencil because it wouldnt fit in the box inc courier use ,Ripping Bastards you may say.... But if you think about it, average biker dosnt do an average 3500 miles a week do they.... For the words inc courier use it cost me an extra £2900...oh yeah I forgot to mention, they wanted it in one payment...
  6. Brilliant colours. Your mate does you proud with the paint jobs. Im like you in that Im all up for making it your own........isnt one like mine on the road either.....

  8. Fookin funny as fook mate. . Had my OH laughing her bits off with that. Nice one. Good luck with the nic wax, may have to do a re-application every once and a while.
  9. Well done matey. Get her insured and make sure its locked up. Take it easy on your debut run out. Lifetime warranty.....unusuall....lets hope you dont need it!! Enjoy
  10. Sounds like the only cure would be a seat recovering, dosnt cost the earth, they would probably dry the foam out before refitting cover. I know a place up in yorkshire that does it. You could have a go yourself if your clever with a staple gun. The only time ive encountered this is with my old zzr600, she had a little rip in the seat and when it rained It gave the same results. You may have to leave the seat in a vertical manner to let all water run out. Maybe putting a bag over it when your not using it may help keep the wet out. But as I said before, I guess a new seat covering would be the answer really. Good luck.
  11. to the forum matey. Good luck with your DT viewing. Dont know much about DTs, but i guess its like every bike. Fork seals, good running engine and box, rear shock, make sure theres no play in the bars, tyres, condition of the exhaust. Others on here will give you a better idea of any weaknesses of the DT.
  12. to the forum matey. Plenty of good people on here. Enjoy your stay.
  13. INSTALLING A HUSBAND DEAR TECH SUPPORT, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the related Flower and Jewelry applications which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs or opens, starts and then freezes. Housecleaning Together 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do? Signed, Desperate DEAR DESPERATE, First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package designed to run on the Still Single With Options operating system, while Husband 1.0 is an entirely different operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html, then download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to also install the Guilt 3.0 update. If those applications work together as designed, Husband 1.0 should automatically begin to run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above applications can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a particularly bad program that will initiate download of the Snoring Loudly Beta. Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0. These two are unsupported applications that will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Desperate, remember that Husband 1.0 is a great system, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve system memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0, Authorized Guys Night Out 4.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7. Good Luck, Tech Support
  14. Well done matey!!!! Woooo Hoooo!!! So...planning any major mileage???? London??? Ace cafe on now??? Well done again mate. Welcome to the world without L plates....
  15. Ive no experience with this type of bike, but she looks well for her age. Heres a link to a couple of newer ones..Linky Brand fire new one at £2600.... Heres a site that may be usefull for comparing prices......The types of bikes are limited, but may be a helpBike valuation linky Have fun.....
  16. Price isnt 2 bad, a little steep for a S Reg at Buy it now.£800 -£1000 really is the limit. But check how many miles it has done since the rebuild. If its been ridden hard (as it sounds from the description), you may be needing another rebuild soon.... Looks nice with the Red Bull fairings. Not original colour, so suspect its been down the road a time or 2. Its not the deristricted version as it states its the 25BHP, not the 33BHP, but maybe a misprint. Tuned engine.....maybe, maybe not. Has it its original exhaust? The rewire aspect...what needed rewiring?.....and was it done without black tape and a few twists of bare wires...ie:a professional job. Buying a second or in this case a 6th hand RS125, you will find scratches and damage (Because typically they are a learning bike), people learn how to fall from these. It all depends on what you want from a bike, yes the RS can be a good bike, but costs to repair are steep, even second hand bits can be as much as a Big bike. Rear shocks are a weakness, check if its the original, if so, that may need changing soon too. Ive had 2 of these monsters and they where an X reg and a W reg. I paid around £1100 for the X reg and £600 for the W in the form of a swap. If your a fat git like me, the fork oil may need changing to provide a better response. Check what price your insurance for one of these is going to be. Hope im helping here and not putting you off......
  17. to the forum matey. Hope your weather is better than up here near Manchester. Ride safe, play safe.
  18. Mines already on ..lol. Nice one Geoff.
  19. Its easier to upload from your pc, it should resize it for you. If the pic you want is in photobucket, just right click the pic and save to your pc( Thats if its not allready in your pc), then upload it from your pc. right click pic in photoshop, you should get option to save picture then upload into avatar.
  20. Ive broke a few keys before now. Last year I broke a key to one of my panniers, I managed to get the second part out of the lock..phew..but I had an important document locked in it that I had to take to Kent, I took both bits to a locksmith mate of mine who made me a new key that fitted better than the original!! Bent keys can have copies made, but do trust your instinct when you do get a copy made, use a good locksmith and make sure that if it dosnt fit well, that the locksmith will try to make you another copy. I had a key made from a bent one, it took the locksmith (Not my mate) I went to, 3 trys to make a decent copy, no charge for the duff copies. The locksmith would probably use a soft jawed vice to straighten the key first. Shouldnt be a problem.
  21. I saw a man and a woman yesterday, she had high heals, short skirt and little top on..he was wearing a full race suit....nice of him to think of her safety. Anyway, I looked at her heels and he had had the pillions pegs plate welded so her feet where on a plate rather than a peg...quite a botched affair really, he had thought about her feet and made a nice plate for them..but still not thought about her road rash she may get.... I dont get it with the biker dollies. My OH comes on the back of me all the time, some days she says " Oh I wont bother with the pants or jacket" I say , "Well , Youd better, cos I aint going anywhere unless you do" Then she puts the stuff on and I dont have to worry to much. Im happy, shes happy and more to the point, safer.
  22. Nice.... This happened the other day near me....I wondered why I didnt get post that day..
  23. Me and a mate of mine took off a taxis mirrors when he tried to under-take me and knock me off on a roundabout in wet weather....we let him go ahead, then went down either side and removed his mirrors.... Beware the yellow dragon!!!
