Same happened to mine, corrosion in the block connector stopped the starter solenoid from being energised. It's very exposed to all the rear wheel spray.
-
Hi, I also have this issue and wonder if you found a solution for it? Thanks
-
Just about to put twin air horns on my bike, sick of a weedy sound! 112dB here we come, try hearing your mobile phone over them
-
Not so fast, I was pleasantly surprised to get the car tax for our (new car) Y2000 530D ice cap melting car Get a car that will last for 500,000 miles and won't rust for quite a long time, long enough for the petrol to run out and we're all eating beans for our own gas production

Works for me User error?
-
Is it still restricted to 11 HP (it's probably kW now)? I can't remember if it was 11HP it was a long time ago.
-
Mine also gets through MOTs with no baffle Just need to go to the right place for the MOT
-
It says not. It attaches to the cheek pads and a Velcro pad on the chin guard pulls it away from your mouth forming a chamber to stop you suffocating!
-
Get yourself a Foggy Breathguard, only £12, bloody fantastic
-
It's a real pain when you see it, you back off and then the bloody thing goes off! I gues the only thing to do is keep at around the max level to stop the oil light thinking it's a cyclist's rear LED Thanks
-
I also have some strangeness with my oil on a 01 R1. The level is between the min and max however I have the oil light come on and then go off 30 sec later. Should the oil always be kept at the max?
-
I have a 2001 R1, idle in traffic it's 105, normal riding is around 72.

Hi, not sure about Xenon kit, I went for some Anti-Vibration Piaa Xtreme White Plus bulbs for my R1. They burn twice a bright for same current just a direct replacement for what you have in there, although not cheap @ £40/bulb. You can get cheaper but not sure about the vibration element.

After some hunting I have finally found some pics of my first fast(ish) bike, seen 105 indicated. RD125 gallery The quality is not so good. I took the picks after a rebuild, you can see the black tape and scratches on the fairing screen, as she rolled down the road @ 60mph. I won't show you what 10 years of sitting in a garage has done for her however I am now restoring her

Nice bike, with plenty of shiny bits
-
Sorry, it's melting tarmac down here! Take a ride to the SE this weekend then it'll be sunny
-
Just in time for the good weather this weekend
-
It does come highly recommened, I have no cash for this year and its quite full (well for the dry months). The increased cost is offset by the use of their bike, which also puts everyone on a level If you are fast then it's at least nothing to do with the bike

Have you a pay pal acc for donations? I'm happy to help out
