  1. It's a drain hole to let out any condensate
  2. Petrol is ok to use as long as you let it dry properly. Yes soak in oil afterward, squeeze out surplus and any dust will stick to it. Similar filter for my petrol mower - now that does catch a lot of dust. cheers
  3. Chances are it could be from the oil drain plug if they didn't replace the alloy gasket. It compresses flat to take up any variation in the mating surfaces and if it has been reused it may not be doing its job.
  4. From professional experience it is always a good idea to introduce yourself before asking a question

  6. Think about it. The fuel going into the cylinder has to be a fuel/air mix for combustion. If you have neat fuel going into the cylinder it just won't work. Or am I not understanding your question?

  10. My mate has permenant tinitus from riding his v loud Harley 150mile to Brighton and back every other weekend for about a year - with earplugs. I would avoid riding behing him because it made my head buzz. I like my 'quiet' original pipes.
  11. Have you riden a 'loud' bike very far? Get some ear plugs
  12. When I changed bikes and insurance, the original insurance company wasn't interested. Told me just to let the policy lapse - it had about three months to run but wasn't worth cashing in after the admin fees. You may also be liable for cancelation fees which cost more than is left on the policy.
  13. I find downhill is good for a bit more speed
  14. Don't waste your money on additives - just a semi synth bike oil will be fine or silkolene v-twin fully syth if you are flush with cash.
  15. And you are? Suggest you look at the New Members section - its only polite.

    Radiator Coolant

No it doesn't. It does remove a little of the impurities - that's what you get in your kettle - but not all.
  17. You may have an issue keeping your battery charged up if you start using large capacity bulbs. See the pinned topic -125 lights are rubbish
