I had a fantastic ride on Sunday, got in about 11.30 pm having covered 700 miles and a 6 hr stopover in Paris to watch the last stage of the worlds toughest sporting event. Cav(mark Cavendish)aka the Manx Missile the first Engish rider to win the Green Jersey, and Cadel Evans the first overall Aussie winer. Cav is now on 20 stage wins and the 5th on the all time list. The Divvy(I hate that name) ran without fault and the saddle comfort is so much better than the Fazer 6(FZ6) saddle. I wonder why Yamaha did not call it the FZ6R in the UK as it is the replacement for the FZ6(Fazer) in the UK and calling the XJ6 Diversion just makes everyone think its the old Divvy b…

Hi all, I'm planning a ride on my 125 bike starting from Congleton (Cheshire)on 15 July (around noon). The idea is to reach Loch Ness on 16-th and to spend Saturday night in Inverness. Everyone is welcome to join me for the whole trip or for any part. One possible route is Congleton - Worrington - Wigan - Preston - Carlisle - Galsgow - Fort William - Inverness. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated, especially if someone can recommend a place to stay on Friday night - somewhere between Carlisle and Galsgow. I'm aware that the success of a journey like this is strongly dependent on the weather and other factors that are difficult topredict, but at least it doe…

Meant to post this earlier but forgot...... Anyone from here going to the Chop 'N' Rod show in Cobham this weekend? It's a two dayer, but day tickets are available for a fiver. I'm gonna go for a day, and I'm wondering if anybody fancies meeting up for a beer there. I'm not sure what day I'm going, either day is good for me though. The website is WWW.CHOPNROD.CO.UK if you fancy a peak.
