hi folks wondering if anybody has had the same problem as myself or can shed some light on the problem. the front tyre on my bike has worn away unevenly on the one side, the centre of the tyre is hardly worn, it actually looks the same as a car tyre when the tracking is off. the tyre only has around 1500 miles on it and the back has plenty of life in it. both tyres were replaced at the same time. they are continental contiforce. the bike was stored in the shed all winter and i deflated the tyre pressure to about 20psi and both wheels were of the ground. any ideas and is it worth sending the tyre back to continental to see what they say? thanks

So after paying 132 quid for the bike (I am not cheap just things are a little tight for us all at the moment) I got it home and tried to fire it up ,needed some juice in the battery so hooked it up to the car…

Thought I'd drop in and say hello. Currently riding an FZS1000 Fazer and a 2002 YP250 Majesty scooter. Also considering buying an SRX400. Any comments on this, anyone? I fancy something a bit different and it seems to fit the bill, but I don't know much about them. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers TJ

hi everyone. found out yesterday that the jawa has an automatic clutch, meaning that when you move the gear lever to change gear, it will disengage the clutch, select the gear and wont engage the clutch again until you move the lever back to centre without even having to touch the clutch lever. is this a common thing on most bikes and how does it work? im quite amazed, lol!

Hi all, As you can see from my bike, I'm new(ish) to bikes having bought myself a TDR125 to get through my test. Actually, I grew up around bikes and always wanted one, but had to wait until my old man passed away to get my first bike. Although he had bikes from the age of 12 until he was in his 50's, I wasn't allowed near them! Anyway...my TDR is a German import. It's a great little bike, but it will need some tlc over the year. I am really shocked at how little information there is about bikes on the net. I emailed Yamaha and got a polite reply saying they knew there was "more to be done." I don't even know what model my bike is. So far, any replacement part…

Greetings fellow members I new to this forum and furthermore the biking world. Will have had my licence a year in August (yey) so yes I am still green. I recently bought my second bike, its a 600R TCat. Its curently got 22.5k miles. I am informed that I can increase the lifespan of my engine by getting the engine re-built etc. Can someone please grace me with their experience and awesomeness and tell me what the average cost may be for a rebuild. When is a good time to consider getting one? What other kinds of things to consider when getting major work done to her? Obviously regular service oil filter etc..... And what kind of mileage to get …

Sorry that I was unable to notify the reason for the site being down for the last day, I had to immediately take down the forums as we had been infilitrated by spammers which were sending out thousands of emails and PM. It was noted at one point 1500 emails per hour were being sent and the quickest way to deal with this was to immidiately take down the forums until the solution had been resolved. IPB the makers of this software have just realised a patch which has fixed this issue. http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic/2829...ip-board-2-3-6/ Thanks to all of those who have pointed out the spam messages and notifying us of the site down time. Cheers Alex
