I have the first MOT on my XVS 1300 next month, I fitted an O2 mod a few months ago. Does anyone know if I need to reconnect the original sensor for the MOT.

Prepped my boys Virago in readiness for an MoT (booked for tomorrow,) He started a new job in April and has been on training so no time for bikes. His bike has sat in the shed since last year. Replaced front brake fluid and cleaned and adjusted rear drum brake. checked all lights work, checked spokes on wheels and fork seals. Didn't check steering head bearings as no centre stand and I was on my own but took it a wee run and they felt fine, so should be good to go tomorrow

Hey Folks, As some of you know I've been getting my DT125R ready for a return to the roads, the information I have received here, from various mechanics and also MOT Testers is invaluable. Some parts of this are obvious but others not so much. A quick breakdown of the stuff that is not required for an MOT (My personal case so far!). 1. Lights, If you have even one light connected all of the lights must be connected. However interestingly enough if you were to blank out all of your lights with duct tape or something similar they wouldn't test them anyway... 2. Speedometer, not actually needed for the MOT but it is against the law to not have…

Some f%ckwhit knocked my bike over when i was at my work and the fu%*ers drove off. F&CK%R!!! Arrived at 4pm and at 5pm some woman came in saying that my bike was over!!!! Ran out and my wonderful DT125RE was lying like a corpse. Broken indicators, bent handlebar, scratched fairing and the throttle is sticking like it has cruise control. Disgusting. Just had it polished and fired a can of ACF - 50 for protection for the winter. Called Plod right away and he arrived at 930pm, nea doubt. CCTV all around so they they will check tomorrow, but the twist is Plod says because its not a part of the public highway (because its a car park with no through road i.e it ha…

If anyone follows Moto GP then if you use BT internet you can register for free BT Sport which is covering Moto Gp in great depth starting this year, several video's and interviews are already on their site now, or if not with BT internet you can subscribe to BT Sport on TV . Cheers Ray.

not a bad race in the end! for saying donington is quite a slow track with barely any places to have the bike flat out. Rossi managed a very good 2nd place. but i have to say DANI PEDROSA what a guy!! set the lap record many times and at one point had a 6.8 second lead over the person in second!! Incredible. i can only find one fault with the man, and thats the fact that he doesn't f**king well smile!!!! you just won a race by miles, smile!! Rossi comes into the winners paddock thing and does a burnout resulting in a dohnut!! hahaha!! then says to suzzy perry (sexy presenter for us britts!) when asked "was it a good race?" he replies "fuck yeah!". opps! npo swear bleeper …

So 4 riders per team seem to be on the cards? There was talks of Stoner coming back, surely itl happen now. Also this must mean a factory Yamaha for Cal and surely something for Redding? http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/motorcycling-motogp-allow-four-riders-per-team-143524045.html Interesting how Honda manage to make things work to help themselves again, I didnt realise it was so obvious until I read the thread about no more 2T bikes.

Well what a first race to start the season. Mark Marqez had a blinding race considering its his first race on the big bikes. Lorenzo...................well what can i say he is a cracking rider and showed that last night, but if Rossi hadn't been a complete twit on the first few laps i recon the race would have been a corker between those two. Mr Crutchlo really needs to stop letting the pressure get to him, if he had kept his calm when Rossi went for him he wouldn't have gone off and could have stuck with Rossi for a few more laps. Just my 2p on the race. did any one else watch?

Hi all. I went so that I might leave house in the morning at 3 o'clock and I might watch Moto-GP. Motegi of Sunday was the day of the very hot race. Did foreign everyone see it by the satellite relay? I could watch it in the invitation seat which Honda prepared for. Do you know? The fact that KAWASAKI won pretense for 23 years with GP. KAWASAKI lost the halves of the factories exactly by the big earthquake 10 years ago. Then, they were the conditions that you had to tie up with Suzuki in the marketing section. KAWASAKI does its best.
