1990 535
I had the same problem with my 95 500cc virago. i just rev'ed the hell out of it and held at top rev for 15-20 secs. It coughed, farted, banged and banged and banged and puked. I did this a few times and then took it for a spin and rode her hard for half a mile. After that she purred like a kitten. Worth a try.

Newbie in everyway!
Welcome ty, nice intro. She is still a clean looking bike. Your dead right, now is the time to change her look. I like your idea's of stripping her back and giving it a more street fighter/ bobber look. I wouldn't mind doing that to me virago. Not yet though I've just finished putting it back together

New to forum, but not Yamaha's.
Nice work there paul. I can see all the rust on there and the bad paint, broken front brake calipers. You must have stripped it right back.

Dragstar 125 handlebar options
Hi Ty, I'll give you a little advice. Post an introduction in the new members and tell everybody about yourself and your bike and i'm sure the experienced members on the YOC will be more inclined to help. I'm a new member myself and i have learned that there is a good bunch of lads and lassies on here, they will try their best to help out with every problem (even if they dont know what they are talking about) they will point you in the right direction Show them a little respect you'll get it back 10 fold.

Some Weather For The Bikes, eh !
yep, was out in the lovely sun on saturday. me and my mate on his bandit, we traveled all around the the lough derg area in the east of county clare. Pulled into mount shannon and went down to the marina and watched all the boats come in. There was loads of those little boats with the sails (no idea what you call them)Stopped off for coffee and hit the road again. before i knew it we had knocked up a few hours of traveling over the whole day. It amazing how time just slips by when your cruising. Life's great,
