GLittle1966 Posted February 22, 2008 Share Posted February 22, 2008 any body out there got any idea how I can extend the f.w controls on my virago 535 K reg, I live in Blackpool Uk, I was going to chop them & weld a piece in & extend the control rods, would this be ok to do or is there any body out there got any other ideas? PioneerX Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Personally I'm not a fan of cut and welding for controls also consider the impact on the value of the bike if you cut pegs off and re-weld them else where. The best way to do it is to put on a 'foward controls' kit this will bring the foot pegs and controls further forward on the bike, which is a big help to talker riders.
