I inherited an old Yamaha 125 dirt bike in the late 80's ( rolling frame and a box of parts). Without much knowledge/parts/internet, I am sad to say it went to the great junkyard in the sky. Now, when I see an old piece of rust, I can't help myself to try and bring it back to it's former glory. Started with a 1966 Bultaco Lobito, and then picked up a 1969 YG5T. I am going to look around, but what I need help with most is how to wire the 12v voltage regulator. I bought a service manual, but my VR only has 2 terminals, and the manual has 5. Just thought Yamaha might have used the same VR wiring schemes in a few bikes. If anyone thinks they have an idea, please let me know, I have been looking EVERYWHERE.
