  1. There's a bloke on ebay selling pressed Ali number plates quite cheap.
  2. The problem with rusty/leaking tanks is the rest of it will the same, what you did is really a temporary repair but you should be on the look out for a decent replacement and POR15 it strait away.
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1000-lb-Hydraulic-Bike-Motorcycle-motorbike-Workshop-Lift-Ramp-Bench-workbench-/251200195084 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-MC365-Hydraulic-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Lift-Ramp-Bench-365Kg-Capacity-New-/200701099600 I'd go for the cheaper one as I'm not a fan of the scissor jack type as not overly stable. Both good enough for your XJ6 though. If you have a mate whose a good welder its fairly easy to make the 1st one, use a trolley jack to operate and it can be made to your dimensions which is useful.
  4. I have some fitted half about my bikes and the main difference to me is if you are really hard braker you may notice less travel on the lever however, on the other hand if you are a progressive braker they'll tend to feel wooden and disconnected.
  5. If you have an electric impact hammer the Allen bolt will come out then you can find out the other ends size for re-tightening.
  6. Hi Remelad is that a free service or chargeable? Ignore the question it was answered later on.
  7. Hi Matt, that should be nice looking forward to the extra power. What area of Birmingham?
  8. I see thats tight has it a hole or something .cant that be repaired?
  9. Not a bad price since its almost a thou, nice looking bike.
  10. Its going to be hard to install any baffle system without some sort of drilling as circlips wouldn't work.
  11. They are few on the ground I think there a good one in Nuneaton but as Drewpy says price is the killer. What do want making?
  12. I didnt Google anything I shouldn't have too, I just thought Id post any number as a test to see if anyone's reading my posts. Q: Why would I want to ask Google when I'm on a Yamaha Owners Club site where all the answers should be! If I have to go to search engines to get any answers to any Yamaha based question it makes this site redundant and all the members doesn't it and I'm surprised I was asked too as it implies "Don't ask us we don't know". I will be waiting to see what sort of response I get from this post!
  13. 19Ltrs is the tank size so WRONG.
  14. Google, when the experts are on hand shouldn't need to use it. I bet if Google was used there is more than one tank size!
  15. Its always been about Honda I just hope they dont buy all the top riders just stop the other manufactures from competing like in the past.
  16. Same here in Brum some you can and some you cant also time limits as well which is great as most people don't drive in the bus lanes when in fact can at that instance so its like having your own personal road.
  17. I guessed it as no one knew the size until you Peter, I weren't far off though. 45mpg is respecable as long as your not riding really slow. I thought these bikes would be doing 55ish.
  18. 20ltrs - 175 = 39ish shit thats poor.
  19. Welcome in we are open for business. LOL.
  20. What size fuel tank is it?
  21. Did Yamaha ever sort out the fuelling on this model.
  22. That the same trick as using a feeler gauge from the old days.
  23. You get the usual wiring diagram sometime an A3 size is available. I bet the fuse block is the same as other bikes.you probably wont get a new one as they tend to come with the loom.
  24. Interesting ish I had to change the fork seals on the Tmax and I'm telling anyone that thinking of doing it what a pain in the arse. Since these things cost 9grand+ you would think it would be easy to work on. PS. this goes for most scoots.
