Touring

Hi, I commute about 100 - 200km, but plan to commute 1000 - 2000km (1 - 2 times a year) and need something capable of this. I've been riding a XT660 single cylinder for the last 10 years, but I'm struggling on the highways and mileage I cover with the single. My budget currently only allows for either a 2012 XT1200 or a newer lower mileage MT07 Tracer. Reliability is my main concern and I travel on gravel roads for short distances on occasion (farm gravel roads). I know the 1200 would be better suited for my needs long term, but will it realistically outlast a MT07 Tracer from a reliability point of view considering it will be 20+ years old…

Hi guys, wondering if you can help me. I’ve bought a innovv k2 front and rear camera kit. Fitted it all good except the ignition live. ive fitted it to my headlight which is on when the bike is running and not(discovered afterwards) just on ignition (not running)1click. apparently it should just work without touching it once the ignition source is fed to the system. Mine doesn’t even when the bike is running without manually taking off the seat then pushing the on button. Obviously this isn’t the way to go. My theory is(correct me if I am wrong) is it wouldn’t matter when the ignition source is powered, 1 on ignition or 2 on startup the “power on” should ki…

I stopped at a gas station, filled the tank, and turned on the key to go. The engine turned over but wouldn't start. I pushed the bike 100 ft to get away from the pump area. Turned the key back on and it started OK. So, what was that all about? (The bike has 4000 miles on it. And, always on a battery tender.)

Hi all I’m a new rider just got my full license and have just bought my first bike very proud to say it’s a XJ600N on a 2000 plate with only 5000 miles on it from new. my question is it has be sat up for 10 years and I’m picking it up tomorrow what should I be looking for and doing with it when I am at the dealership thanks
