Finally another restoration that i have just finished, it was a bit harder to fined parts here in the UK but now its done and runs fantastic. This is how i bought the bike which was seized and hadnt been running for years. Hope you enjoy the pics. TTB

hey peeps as requested, here are the pics of the new bike, havent named it yet it will have to earn one. 1989 XJ600, payed £450 for it, 37k on the clock but Partial service history and lots of money spent on upkeep over the years looking over the reciepts. its my first bike bike and for what i paid for it if i throw it down the road i wont be too fussed, rather wreck this than a more expensive bike. i seem to have a thing for mature ladies, first the '89 DT and now this... but my god they are fun to ride XD

Hi there! Just discovered this forum and well, it seems there are quite a lot of Yamaha lovers in here ;-) After my Fireblade, my Hayabusa and my Z-1000 (don't ask / great bikes but got "bored" with them after one or two seasons), I switched last year to a more "touring-like" bike which also had a somewhat sporty side. My eye fell on the Yamaha Fazer S2 and I wasn't even that jumpy to have another +1000cc bike and settled for its 600cc's.
