Events, Rideouts & Trackdays

Well I have no plans as yet other than what is in the title but earlier today I decided that I would take a 2 week holiday. It was alread booked for other reasons that have now been cancelled. Rather than swapping holidays I thought what better way to spend the time than clocking up some serious miles. So on Friday the 19th of may I shall head south to the channel tunnel and then I guess I will be making a right turn. Other than that I will be planning it from here on in. Any advice of routes, places to stay and visit will be much appreciated. Previous experiences? Really any information from rider out there. As to a final destination I am not sure yet ei…

If all comes together I will have the full licence and bike before this weekend. As its a nice 4 day break I am thinking of having a good ride out. I am not getting my hopes up as it would be easy to make a stupid mistake on test day and not be able to get a re- test in time for the weekend. However where can I go? What to do? Are there any shows on that weekend or just some good roads and routes the more experienced biker knows. It doesnt have to just be the UK. It could be over the water. (mainland europe) Thanks in advance.

yup its here again,,,the southend shakedown,,,,this is an amazing event,,that raises money for little havens childrens hospital,,,, last year was awsome,,, so come down to the ace cafe for the run down to southend,,,,you wont be dissapointed,,,this is a huge event ,,and it looks like this year is gonna be bigger once in southend you.ll see some amazing machines ,,,and there,s usually some ,,,lets say,,,, wheelie good fun goin off lol all over the place,,,

This year we are producing a fs1e 2008 calendar, the moped that put a lot of us on bikes me included. on April 3rd we are doing a shoot at The White Hart. 111 London Road Bridgeyate Bristol BS30 5NA at aprox 8pm weather permitting, at the moment we have 3 purple fs1es for the shoot, but the local VJMC group will be there with some of their bikes as will the wiltshire riders club as its one of their girls who is modeling for this shoot. if any one wishes to pop along they are welcome even better if they are on a classic bike as it will make a stunning picture to have a car park full of bikes. more details available on http://www.fs1e.co.uk htt…

Great rideout for anyone in the Gt Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside area - near Bolton. Loads of bikes on any Sunday - good food and great roads. Parking for bikes only at the Top Barn.

There is going to be a rideout starting from Norwich Showground (norfolk) heading to Great Yarmouth and then onto Lowestoft(suffolk) all bikes are welcome it happens every year except 2004 when they would rather have the POP beach thing on and it clashed with the rideout and as they eckon not enough police to do the two one had to give way.Every year there is at least 1000 taking part,police escort etc a brill day will let you know the cost as soon as i have it but last year it was £6 to take part.I have been told the forms will be available next month some time.
