Events, Rideouts & Trackdays

Hi all, I am thinking of doing a novice track day, the legal way to enjoy the full power of the bike (makes a change!) Those of you that have already done this, can you share some wisdom/advice for me (and the bike) on track riding? I suspect my brakes and tyres will be shot after the event, should I do anything to the bike (out of the norm) before riding? I was thinking of going to Snetterton circuit (2 weeks time), unless people can suggest a better circuit Thanks

Hi just wandering if there is anybody from mansfield/chesterfield/doncaster way fancies meeting up one night/day for bit of a rideout could sort out when and where if people are interested.

this a great gathering organised by the LE velo club. Its situated off the east Lancs road. Lots of different bikes attend and there is a great (free)museum housing one of the largest steam engine winders in the UK. 11am to 4pm directions here

I have a Royal Enfield with number plate YAM 691, the number plate has been valued at around £1500+ but I was assuming it would be particular interest to a Yamaha owner. Before I go through the agencies, do you know anyone who might be interested in buying it?

Hi guys I'm another new guy I saw the site and thought it looked just the job to see if there was any info out there about clubs or meeting places around the Durham/Newcastle area. May 20th brighton fs1e rally on the sea front Bikes should be arriving from the bolony to brighton run aproximatly 10.30 am over 50 fs1es and other 70s sports mopeds will be there including my extremly rare Yamaha Ty50p if you love 2 stroke fumes get your ass down there

could anyone tell me where i can look to find hill climbs in the newcastle area? im no pro and im only using a dt125r so i dont want anything major.just looking for any decent hills in my area.if anyone knows of any or where i can look online or anywhere else id really appreciate it. ive seen a lot of it on t.v.in the past so im assuming theres clubs e.t.c. but after weeks of searching the net im still at a loss. thanks dave.

Any suggestions for routes accross Europe. I am off for a jolly up with some mates, some have ridden abroad before and some have'nt, but its alway's good to find twisty road and route suggestions. Would be good to hear your stories too. Cheers Damo

Hi, I'm new to the club. Just bought myself an '06 Midnight Warrior, and want to put a few miles on it. If anyone has any rides planned in the PNW area, let me know, and I'll see about scheduling off some time. I'm usually pretty broke until I get a new job, but always have enough for gas/riding (its the small pleasures in life that make living worth it). Just turned over 1800 miles in the month and a half that I've had it. If you have anything planned, or at least have an idea of where I could go for a decent ride even solo this time of year, I would love the input. Thanks, -Dev
