So I'm off to see my Mum down in Portsmouth, about 150 odd miles so takes me about 2+ hours to get there from home, I leave the house and not more than 1/2 a mile from home this bloody woman who is following her friend home from dropping off the kids at school apparently and does not want to loose her turns right across in front of me, big black line from the rear wheel down the road and I'm jammed inside the front wheel arch, this while she explains the story of how we arrived at this moment. I am still trying to hold the bike upright while she goes on about this, if you didn't laugh you would not credit it..! NO "sorry mate my fault" just an explanation of how I have ma…

Hello all, this is my first post, hope it gives you all a lol, well lets start by telling you all I've just bought my first fazer 600 (2002) & I'm well impressed, (used to ride an R1 & a zx9r), too bloody old now. All I wanted to know was what colour it was & where to get it from, after what seemed like two millenium on the computer I found out that the colours Yamaha paint there bikes is the most closely guarded secret in Japan & just in case an employee happens to defect to the West they have ceased production of all touch-up & spray paints as a matter of National Security, I was lucky, there was a government leak & I discovered at great cost t…

I know my parents would disagree, but I don't live with them now so that's why I'm sneaking off to get my M/C License and a bike! I'm originally from Newcastle and that's where my parents live and I'm living in Manchester now! hehe....

I posted this question earlier on another message board I visit. I received a number of replies but would like to see what our guys and girls think on here As some of you may know I while away my working life working as a Sergt/Cox'n on a Police Launch on the Clyde. It is a job I find very enjoyable with different levels of challenges each time I slip my moorings. I seldom come home fed up with the job, which I hear from a lot of my land based colleagues. Anyway I have been invited to attend an interview at the end of this month with the prospect of promotion, if successful. This would mean leaving the Marine Unit and being confined to mainly driving a desk. I don't s…

I wanted to comment on a thread that's locked-out, and couldn't. So, I'm starting a new thread to repond. I call the British "Friends and Allies", because whenever a Yank is in a skirmish, they know that they can trust a Brit to cover their back.
