What is with these idiots on ebay who think they can dismantle a UJM, then list every part and not have the sense to throw away the junk? They also don't list the stuff as a regular auction, but sell it in their ebay stores as a buy it now for rip off prices. I just saw a 31 year old cam seal up for grabs. He said it looked like new. It was out of round and probably hard as a rock. Or how about a 32 year old air filter with 60% of the filter material missing and the rest of it so ancient it crumbles to dust when you touch it. The same crackpot also listed an old wiring harness with corrosion on the connectors that he described as perfect except for the section that was …

So i am riding to work, come off a round about behind a car who is following a yellow bike and another car at about 45 in a 60 limit, the road is nice and clear ahead so i overtake hitting 60mph on the dot and pull in. As a van goes the other way i catch a glimps of yellow in my mirror, look right and the idiot is racing me(now going a little faster), riding the white line with traffic coming the other way. I accelerated and he tried but couldnt pass so i let the throttle go and dropped back. Now i have a proper view neither rider or pillion have any gloves boots or jackets on and the poor bike is practically scrubbing its rear tyre on the mud guard from the weight. The b…

had 2 today the second is probably a little upset having no choice but to take the stoke exit. The fact he was programming his sat nav, getting the address from someone on the phone (that is at his ear). Seemed to be unimportant to him. He had the choice of intimate terms with 44tonnes of fully laden artic or take the lane he drifted into. Twat.

this dark person in a taxi would have lost his mirror. i was going down mansel way , in the right hand lane as i was about to enter the right turn filter lane , when said dark boy on his mobile also nodding to his passenger , swerved almost into me, it was only down to my own observation and quick response that he missed me, well ? to be honest i was livid . at the lights i rattled on his window with metal knuckled glove , pondering weather or not to put it through, or just take a mirror, but ? being the laid back forgiving gent that i am , i gave him the benefit to explain himself. to witch the dark bastard replied you need to watch we…

Yamaha XS36o owners; Last fall I purchased a 1976 XS360 for $1000.00 CAD in hopes of trading up this spring. For a number of reasons trading up does not look like an option. The bike is in decent shape mechanically. It starts instantly in all weather. the transmission shifts smooth. It cruises at 55 mph (90km) at around 5500 rpm and gets about 124 miles per tank. I find it fun to ride as well. The problem is I still yearn for something bigger, newer, and more beautiful. What I am looking for is someone to tell me how lucky I am to have what I got. This would carry even more weight if it were from an XS360 owner. Please help me to fall more in love and more proud of my…

So today after over a week of trying I finally get a response from DHL that my parcel is in the hands of Parcelforce and has been for the best part of 2 weeks and is awaiting import duty to be paid. 🥳 I was supposed to have been notified by them sending a postcard but once AGAIN I didn't get one. No email or text either. 🙄 I recently tried importing some engine casings and the exact same thing happened, waited patiently until my patience ran out then got on to the seller whose attitude was "I got your money everything else is your problem" so I had to go chasing carriers to find out where my parcel was and on that occasion it had sat in the parcel place for so lo…

Just imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this. Many Chicago folks DID hear this on the WBAM FM morning show in Chicago. The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is called ”Mate Match”. The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant answers ”yes”, he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions. The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner (with phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize. One particular game, however, several month…

With my daughter in the car yesterday (she's not allowed on the bike yet), waiting to pull out of a junction; traffic is busy....and along comes a biker....and as he approaches he suddenly reaches in to his breast pocket, and pulls out his mobile phone, and starts looking at it - further down the road it looked like he was texting on it. To do it at all: stupid. To do it in traffic - total twat.

Now, before we all fly off the handle about Police 'bashing,' my father is a Police Sergeant, a very good one at that! But, lately the Police 'hiring policy' seems to be letting more and more morons into 'the force.' Maybe it is because anyone in their right mind would not join the Police for warrant of not wanting to be 'castrated' by "political correctness" bullsh*t and assorted H&S b*llocks that seem to run the Police these days. Anyway, there is a reason this rant has been started... Apart from my own instances of seeing the Police using their ‘powers’ unjustly or just being plainly idiotic, this case was something that happened to my mother today; …

Right boys & girls ..... The mid life crisis continues. I'm getting a tattoo done. To be fair, I've researched and thought about this for over a year. Just wondering what your views are on tattoos in general? Are they a common feature among the disreputable bikers on this site??

INSTALLING A HUSBAND DEAR TECH SUPPORT, Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the related Flower and Jewelry applications which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1. Conversation 8.0 no longer runs or opens, starts and then freezes. Housecleaning Together 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I…
