A man calls home to his wife and says, "Honey, I have been asked to fly to Canada with my boss and several of his friends for fishing.. We'll be gone for a long weekend. This is a good opportunity for me to get that promotion I've been wanting so could you please pack enough clothes for a 3 day weekend"..... And also would you get out my rod and tackle box from the attic ? We're leaving at 4:30 pm from the office and I will swing by the house to pick my things up.. 'Oh! And please pack my new navy blue silk pajamas..' The wife thinks this sounds a bit odd, but, being the good wife, She does exactly what her husband asked. …

Well peeps, its that time of year again, the trusty old xj is going through its mot as I am writing this, the exhaust putty put on last night has done its job, the dodgey indicator has been cleaned out and repaired and the leaky fork seal has been wiped down, so here I am sat in the carpark with a cigarette and a cup of off-smelling nescafe waiting for the result, contemplating life and the mysteries of the universe, are we really alone? Are cats actually robots? What did batman and robin get up to in the batcave when they weren't fighting crime?... I need to stop thinking...

  12. “One of the most striking features of the new bike is the WR’s unique single-cell fuel tank incorporating the rear sub frame”, Yamaha Factory Racing Team Yamlube Team Manager Jose Leloir commented. “The major consideration when building a Dakar bike is where to place the necessary 35 litres of fuel. For 2014 we had five separate fuel tanks all requiring pumps and all linked by fuel pipes. By using a single carbon fibre fuel cell we have simplified the system massively and in the processes made huge gains in both weight saving and reliability. In total we’ve reduced the bike’s weight by a considerable ten kilos and in the process made servicing the bike each evening a whol…

Hi Everyone I'm sorry to spam the forums but it is for a genuine cause. I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on the 1st September 2007 to raise money and awareness for the Amani Children's Home. I will also be visiting the Amani home in Moshi, Tazania, which sits at the bottom of Mount Kilimanjaro. Where I will spend time with the children who will benefit from the money donated. The Amani Children's Home rescues children from the perils of life on the streets in Tanzania, who face a high risk of HIV transmission and malnutrition. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the largest freestanding mountain in the world (world’s fourth highest peak). It's…

Six weeks ago, in the last week of October, the Beast and I parted company at 50mph and rolled down the road separately for a while. The cast comes off my left wrist tomorrow and I still have a brace on my right knee but that's getting there. However it is with heavy heart that I report the parting of the Beast. I'm told that my beloved TR1 is not repairable. I now have to wait for the insurers to find a market value for a bike that is as rare as unicorn teeth (good luck with that one) so that they can decide what they believe it was worth.

Hi there I would like to mention my project to catalogue every driving road in the world. To do this I crated the site www.roads2go.com. My goal is it to reach as many motor bikers as possible from all over the world and encourage them to share their experiences on www.roads2go.com. I made the interface as simple and intuitive as possible. I will be glad if you would enter your personal favorites and rate other roads. I entered myself over 100 roads I have driven on. But I have not been everywhere. That is why I am counting on you. Regards Martin

After seeing that they were closing down I went to my local shop in Bradford. I was disapointed. After seeing tales of bargains that had been had by other people I was expecting to get a nice pair of boots and whatever else took my fancy. For a start the shop I went to was had only reduced items by 30% and the choice was very limited. It was mainly all the top end gear which even after a 30% reduction was still out of my price range. Did any one on here manage to get any bargains?
