  1. Hi All Wondering if anyone can offer any suggestions re. a problem I'm having with my SR125? Out riding the other day I noticed that the indicators are acting odd. Sometimes there's a delay before they come on when the switch is pressed, and sometimes they start as normal but have odd pauses between the flashes every so often. All seems to work normally with just the electrics turned on, but with the engine running, even just standing in the garage, the odd random pausing starts again. I've checked the battery has plenty of charge, tried a new indicator relay and I've found nothing loose in the wiring (but haven't yet managed to trace the earth wire back into the …

so many bikes going up the road past my house the last few days. there is a camp site a few miles along and i think there must be a club meet or something happening. i have listened to everything from, big 4 sports bikes, to ducati's, harleys, classic japs, even some old brit iron 8) i had a nice run with a z1000 owner the other day, he came over to to me in the petrol station and asked the way to portpatrick, so i said he could just follow me as i live there. very nice guy he was too, the biking spirit is still alive 8) now i must go along to the camp site and see what's happening

Ok my technical knowledge of machinery is well next to basic........ok ok its crap but hey I don't deny it I need to know whether its cheaper to make gaskets from the paper they sell or are you better off spending more to get the prefab stuff. I dont have barrel loads of cash to throw at my bike and need the cheapest and easiest due to suffering from CFS ( chubby finger sindrome ). Any comments welcome

A cowboy lay sprawled across three seats in a posh Tyler Theater. When the usher came by and noticed this, he whispered to the cowboy. "Sorry sir, but you are only allowed one seat." The cowboy groaned but didn't budge. The usher became more impatient. "Sir, if you don't get up from there, I'm going to have to call the manager." The cowboy just groaned. The usher marched briskly back up the aisle, and in a moment, he returned with the manager. Together the two of them tried to move the cowboy, but without success. Finally they summon the police. On arrival, the policeman surveyed the situation briefly and then asked, "A…

Just got back from a short holiday on the south coast...... Apart from the usual games of dodge the old lady in the Honda Civic, found that the ride from Burton Bradstock to Weymouth is an absolute must for anyone riding in the area of Weymouth. Try it....you might like it!!!!! By the way the Swan Inn at Abbotsbury is biker friendly to the point where the owner actually wanted to talk about my machine ( sorry but rare round these parts, usually bikers are seen as the easy rider rebels that will start fights at the drop of a hat ). Any one else found a nice run with nice stop offs??

Ahh yes, just got back from a week in Venice. T'was a press trip, full board accomodation for free and in the best hotel on the island - Luna Baglioni. Apparently, Dinero was there the week before - shame as I'm a fan. Got some nice piccies of what I can only describe as one of the nicest and culturally effervescent places I've ever been to. Managed to get some great images of Mont Blanc on the flight over and aa few fantastic images of the sun setting over the wing on the flight back - had to use a polariser to get rid of a lot of the crudd on the window though. Funny thing was that on holiday you usually work out who the locals hate most out of all the tou…

I finally got around to watching Fahrenheit 9/11. Deffo very one sided but looking through all of that and having read both his anti-Bushisms, I must say that I am astonished that the USA re-elected GWB. Watching the various news feeds from around the globe it's plain to see that the USA is most probably the most unliked country in the world and that situation seems to be excaserbated by the man at the helm. I really, really hope that at the UK general election, Tony Blair and the Labour party goes down the swannie, the only problem is that the other choices are either lame or have no idea. Jesus Christ, how could John Kerry not win and how could the Americas re…

Hi, Ever gone into a bend with chevrons plastered everywhere only to find it wasn't a bend at all just a flat out kink, or, the other way round gone barrelling into a non chevroned bend to be confronted with the mother of all bends and had to anchor up sharpish. Here's an idea, howabout changing these inconsistant signs with rally notes on signs. (Stay with me). Instead of the wiggle bend sign how about a bloody great sign that say LEFT 3 INTO SHARP RIGHT FOLLOWED BY FLAT 6 Even better FLAT 6 INTO BROW, WHEELIE 3RD GEAR Well i was bored at work today!

It was a challenge on the ice between two and four wheels stars at Madonna di Campiglio. Despite the sub-zero temperature almost five thousand people thronged to the Ice Karting arena at Madonna di Campiglio to take in an exhibition including Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Luca Badoer, Loris Capirossi and Carlos Checa. The organisers of Wroom, the traditional Ferrari meeting dedicated to the specialist press on the snow at Campiglio, is now in its 15th year. This year, the spectators had the rare chance of seeing the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro stars lining up against the Ducati Marlboro Team. Unfortunately, Carlos Checa was unable to take part in the rac…

Thinking of buying a new Fazer 1000 at the weekend, CMC have them for £5500 which seems a bit of a bargain compared to what else is available at the moment. They are offering me £3000 for my GSXR 600 k1, which isn't too bad considering the below list on the Fazer. I am changing the style of bike due to recent recurring lower back, neck and wrist grief - too many years of riding and falling off sports bikes ( and mountain bikes). So who has any comments - good or bad on this as a choice of bike for mixed riding - fast weekend blasts, occassional 700 mile weekend jaunts to Scotland, bit of commuting and maybe a week or so to France. Reccomended upgrades and manufact…
