I have an 88 FZ600 that needs two new mirrors and I was wondering if Yamaha designed any other bikes with the same mounting arrangement that my bike has. Also does anybody have experience with any aftermafket mirrors?

Ok folks if you will do your best to think what this might be I would be obliged. Took the bike out yesterday ran well and had a lot of fun right up till it started to fart and misfire, checked the plugs (ok) checked fuel lines(ok) was stopped on the side of the road swearing at it and it would not start, then out of nowhere it fired right up but not firing on number 4 cylinder. is it possible for one side of the coil pack to break? Fiddled with the HT cable and found it had a spark but still would not fire so decided to ride it home anyway and sod the damage it might do, half a mile down the road it fired up and went like nothing was wrong, the only other thing I had don…

Hey folks, Not been on for a while been busy doing non bike related stuff and on holiday etc. My biggest thing tho was getting my tattoo started which is going to be a full sleeve which is going to be a story of my journey through the Army. Basically as we all know we are forever fighting our demons, my demon is back pain thus this demon is holding a spine. Next im having two soldiers fighting there demons along with a battle cross in memory of my friends who lost there battle. After that i will be having a flying demon dragging a tank through the sky to represent my dream job being ripped from my life. And the last thing im having done is the Angel Gabri…

Hope this is in the right place, my first post. A few months ago my dad bought me a MBK Doodo 125 from ebay. MBK bikes are the same as Yamaha, only differently branded/named. They are manufactured by the same company, and the MBK Doodo 125 is basically a Yamaha Teos 125. The bike did not come with any sort of registration details, so at the moment I am facing paying the £55 fee to Yamaha in order for them to give me my registration. I have the Engine Number and Frame Number, and was wondering if there is any way of finding out my registration while avoid the steep fee. Any help is appreciated.

PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE WORDING AND SPELLING. IF YOU KNOW THE BIBLE EVEN A LITTLE, YOU'LL FIND THIS HILARIOUS! IT COMES FROM A CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEST. KIDS WERE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS. THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS ABOUT THE BIBLE WERE WRITTEN BY CHILDREN. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN RETOUCHED OR CORRECTED. INCORRECT SPELLING HAS BEEN LEFT IN. 1. IN THE FIRST BOOK OF THE BIBLE, GUINESSIS. GOD GOT TIRED OF CREATING THE WORLD SO HE TOOK THE SABBATH OFF. 2. ADAM AND EVE WERE CREATED FROM AN APPLE TREE. NOAH'S WIFE WAS JOAN OF ARK. NOAH BUILT AND ARK AND THE ANIMALS CAME ON IN PEARS. 3.. LOTS WIFE WAS A PILLAR OF SALT DURING THE DAY, BUT A …

As some of you will know, due to an accident a few years ago and no money I've been lazy in booking my DAS after 4 years on a CBT BUT I've been training this week at Ridesure at Dunsfold park, great place to learn as they've got the whole facility off road and good bikes (unlike some I saw at the test centre...) So far I can't recommend them enough! Started yesterday and completed by MOD 1 with 1 minor (not looking for cars whilst taking it off the stand for the manual handling.... ) Got my Mod 2 booked next Wednesday and would be lying if I said I was 100% confident, but the CBF 500 that I've been on is far more stable and confidence inspiring than the SR! …

Hi, I just took my mod 1 on a dragstar 125cc yesterday and failed :S the instructor said my handling for manoeuvres like u-turn, slalom etc was faultless but because I couldn't get my bike upto speed through the speed trap (minimum 32mph), I couldn't do the swerve or emergency stop exercises. Any advice on how to achieve this speed on my type of bike? I felt like I was going as fast as I could reasonably go when going around the circuit bend, the max speed I achieved was 28mph

This morning I took a run out to the test centre for the Mod1 test as I will be doing it shortly. I was amazed at how big the area is! It must be almost three times the size of the area I have been practising on! After seeing this my confidence has been given a boost.

Did my module 1 test yesterday, no mistakes, passed it Now I've got my mod 2 on december the 7th (I tried booking earlier but it's all they had) Honestly, I'm crapping it. I know I'm good enough to pass I can just see myself making a f**cking silly mistake I'll kick myself for afterwards. So, are there any tips/usual suspects to avoid getting caught out on the Mod 2? If anyone is from round here - I'm taking it in Farnborough, which has like 2 billion roundabouts in... Chris

ive got my Mod 2 on monday, and with the weather we've been having recently, ive been thinking about ice, and how to deal with it properly (IE. to keep an examiner happy that im not gonna kill myself) is there a proper way to traverse a patch of ice, or do we just avoid it wile the plague and ask the examiner to use another road for the route? thanks fellas
