  6. I had a trackday booked at Donny last month but had to cancel it due to an untimely re-occurrence of trigger finger on the left hand. Knuckle swelled up and I could no longer pull the clutch. I had previously modified the slave lever to reduce the load, which worked to a degree, but when I sat down and thought a little longer about the hand, it crossed my my that the heavy clutch/repetitive movement might actually be the cause. I did a bit of research on the ineterwebby and could go hydraulic with chinese parts for 30 to 40 quid, but some of the reviews of part quality led me to steer clear. So I took the opportunity while at the last stafford show and got a show price de…

Just seen this on faceache and looks a great alternative to painting. The hydrographic process consists of transferring a pattern to an object using water displacement. The object being printed can now be dipped through the pattern. The water being displaced by the object causes the pattern to wrap around and adheres the print to the object no matter how complex the shape. Creating a continuous finish. http://www.kustomcoatingsuk.co.uk/

i bought my first bike. a 1979 yamaha xs1100 special. i fiugured out how to run the thing pretty quickly and have fixed obvious problems, such as dry rotted carb/manifold boots. whats been killing me for days is some kind of electrical issue. ive been poking wires with the "light up tool and trying to fallow the wirering diagram. but my effort is a completle waste of time becuse i do not get electricity!!! god it makes me mad....anyways so my starter, horn, rear/brake light, and nuetral light all work. as far as the rear/front signal, speedometer, rpm guage, low/high head lamp, and any other light on the bike, its junk. fuses are all fine and there is power in the fuse bo…

Anyway a Suzui come blasting up from behind and stops with me at the junction. Suzuki "Alright mate, them TDR 125's are not bad when you goin to get a proper bike, somat with a bit of go like this" Me (through gritted teeth) "I'm perfectly happy with it" Then the junction cleares he fucks of at a million miles an hour, into TDR land. Bad tarmac, bad bends, and i've been riding them day in day out rain or shine for the last 4-5 years..... Only the ice ha…

Just thought I would say hello. Plus I thought I would mention that I am after a Yamaha TW200 or TW225. Now I know they are not bikes we get in the UK, but I really like them. I used to have a TW125, and I only sold it as I was starting a business. I really liked my TW125, but its was slow with me on it. So I wanted to see if i can get a bigger cc version. My only other choice is to get a cheap old TW125 and by lots of tuning bits from: www.tw-parts.com Which I don't have a problem with, but I would prefer a TW225 more. As I want to use it at weekend, to get to Wigan. Plus have the power for two people. Thanks John P.S. Also I would consider …

I have spent the last 8ish years working for myself on various contracts but the latest one means that I will be employed until 2011. No more working from home for a while, I will have to get up and dressed in the dark, a morning commute to Nottingham, having to put on a suit, shirt and tie. Oh dear!

Hi i am looking for a job within the motorcycle industry and have been buying/repairing and selling motorbikes as a hobby for the last 15 years and would like to turn this into a full time career move if possible, anything considered within a 15-20 mile radius of J29 of the M1 motorway.
