Right dropped my old 1998 fazer 600 last week on some diesal gutted, but i figured it was time for a new one as my licence restrictions have just eneded.... This is my old one, loved it to bits but well its just about beyond economical repair, fantastic bike just could have done with half the 40,000 miles on the clock. This is this summers new ride.... and i cant wait to get on it

  3. Loket may have remodelled their layout to include a new jump and corner section and moved the start gate back to the original position but the course was still stony and slippery and tested the full range of a rider's feel for traction and grip. The technical edge was increased by the hard-pack around what is otherwise a flowing and relatively easy racing course. Watched by 24,000 spectators Febvre set-off from his second Pole Position of the season won through Saturday's Qualification Heat. He settled into second place behind Evgeny Bobryshev and bided his time until the Russian slightly dropped his pace before taking control on lap six. From there Romain built a comfo…

i've had my xs650 chop a while now and its still not roadworthy, every single thing i've looked into on it, taken apart, tried to fix has been botched, never in my life have i come across a so badly put together bike, i suppose thats what i get for buying off fleabay without going and having a look first, let this be a lesson to us all, NEVER and i mean NEVER EVER buy a bike without going and having a look at it first. you would think after 43 years on this world i would have known better but i jumped in feet first cos it was cheap, what a fucking disaster, every nut and bolt ive come across so far has been half arsed, its cost me more than i paid for it in parts. its got…

was out a run today and was sitting in a line of moving traffic at about 50-55 when this plukey-faced arsehole in a corrolla passed out the line of traffic,3 or 4 cars and myself over double white line on a bend!!!! the wee fecker then pulled into a garage about 500 yards down the road to wave at the other tit that he was racing. i pulled up next to him in the garage and gave him a mouthful, told him i was an off-duty traffic cop(hee-hee) and i would pass on his details to the local cops who would be up to visit him during the course of the mouthful he admited that he only had a provisional to which i told him that as that was the case they would lift the car and …

real piss£d off, got knocked off today; riding round the roundabout underneath of J25 of the M5 at taunton this afternoon, in the middle lane doing maybe 25-30, when a car sat in a queue in the lefthand lane pulled straightout and into the side of my bike (the tdm850) and me. Initially my leg and foot get crushed between the car and my bike, then the bike topples over and i hit the deck. momentarily pass out and then jump out of the way of the lorry that was behind me as clearly stopping at the scene of accident is too much for him. Car seems to drive off, i think he had second thoughts when he saw a biker waiting for recovery (it turns out also from brizzle) and …

For the past 2 weeks, I haven't been riding due to a nagging headlight prob with the XJ......cleaned & replaced just about anything that remotely had to do with the headlight, still with NO positive results :? I decided to pull the dimmer switch apart one more time to check voltages, put it back together & was going to have a 30yr. Bike Mechanic friend of mine, have a go with it.......fired it up to take it over to his house---low & behold, the headlight now works!! ......has ever since :? .....probably just a bad ground @ the handlebar with that dimmer switch  So now that I'm back on 2-wheels again, it's amazing how my outlook on day to day li…

My new bike is now officially run-in and serviced, so today I braved my first trip into work. The reason I hadn't done it sooner is because: A. I live in Glossop, and work in Leeds. So for those of you who don't know, that's a 50 mile one-way trip when I drive on the motorway and a 38 mile trip on back roads with my CBT and a 125. A total of 100 or 72 mile round trip, depending B. It's a hilly ride so with a 125, revving can't be avoided and I didn't want to over-rev a new bike C. It's taken a while to save up and buy clothing suitable for a cold ride over the Pennines in the morning D. I'm new to riding, so I've been focussing on building up my confidence on two wh…

Had to drop some stuff for my auld bike off at the powdercoaters. As you know I hate riding in the rain, but no choice today. The only (main) road out of this place was closed due to a large fire so all the rat runs would be clogged up therefore the car was a non starter. So off i set on a heavy rain/hail shower which lasted about 10 miles. After that it dried up all the way there and back (including an unscheduled detour when I got lost in Paisley), but the wind was fekking howling especially on the way home where about 25miles of M-Way riding was spent just trying to keep the bike upright.

Been a little while since I posted, I've been out enjoying the summer here since it's only a few months long in Canada.... but have some good and bad news! 12k kms after the rebuild on the old 86 FZ600 it decided to blow up. Connecting rod end cap let loose and boom...hole in the case. I have enough parts to rebuild but in the meantime, it was an incredible excuse for an upgrade. I searched far and wide, and found a killer deal on a 1999 Yamaha R6... and HOLEEEEEY shit, WHAT an upgrade it is. Such a smooth bike compared to the old girl, everything feels more stable, however you require a lot of self restraint to not twist the throttle open on a curve and kill yourse…

Just been doing my oil change on the Divvy and the one thing I've noticed is masses of piting on the oil filter and general crap in behind the pipes. Are fender extenders worth it? Not the prettiest of mods, relatively easy to fit and not too expensive. Thoughts? Cheers! C.

  18. Hello all, Just bought myself a 2010 YBR125 custom and as it came with no service history and only 700miles on bike I am a bit concerned at the very low mileage considering it is over 3years old and has had 3 owners... The guy I bought it off seemed very genuine so am more concerned about the 2 previous owners and lack of any real mileage. The bike is in good condition and seems to be going well but I would really like to find out if there is any way I can check the mileage is genuine. I've never had one of these bikes before and as I'm only getting 55 miles per hour is this the norm and if not is there anything I can check to remedy it? The guy I bought it from just …
