Does it idle correctly when in neutral ? if revs drop off wen gear selected, is usualy clutch drag, if its slipping " it will sound like an automatic car when excelerating,,,

Aye lads, Tesco are selling 1 litre bottle , for £4.50 ... Its same bottle as Carlube [ prob bottled under order] , semi-synthetic, good stuff i used it all last year, smells great too. no point in buying £12.00 motul or £8.50 rock oil, any body beat this price ,,,?

Well ian, it depends on what your intentions are , ie, Track days or just back road riding, Ther"s a few of my mates have sports bikes, after every ride-out, say 200mls , They are battered with stiff suspension set up. First thing i did wen aquiring my Zrx , was to back off the rear spring adjusters, and rebound setting, for a comfy ride, ,

Hi skik. the valve stem seals, symptom , is when engine sits overnight , the oil thats been pumped up to topend,[ head] , runs down valvestems . if seals are worn or hardend, a little oil seeps past , & into combustion chamber, when starting, will burn off, whte/blue smoke. nowt to worry about , check oil levels regulary .

Well guys , made it home " 285mls thru torrential rain, 4 hrs at a steady 70mph. , Old git & fazer Al are still ther , hope ther tents are not floating ,, , We had a good friday night, talking 1970s strokers, Al "s mate Banjo , good crack too , Spent sat morning test riding all the different cc triples, 250/350/400, Al"s 400 is so smooth, old git thot so too. Old git had his old DT175, & had a partial seizure on way to rally, as did a few others on 400s [ middle pot ] my phones f*ked with rain, so havn"t down loaded picks
