I got the gloves. They actually only partially cover the wrist bone but they are very well made, a great fit and look good (in an understated kind if way). I can't comment on whether they'll be good summer gloves though, as I'm yet to ride with them.

Sorry, guys, I forgot to update this thread. I did get the Philips X-Treme Vision but haven't got around to install it yet. I'll let you know how it works out when I do. (When I can actually start riding the bike)

Just out of curiousity, was it actually a good deal at £1220?

Sorry, I forgot to update this thread. I did receive the second jacket and it's a great fit. It is still fairly tight but not uncomfortably so. Now only time will tell whether it "works".

I've finally received my British license this week and managed to book the CBT for next Sunday. Because I also intend to get the full license at a later date I passed the theory test on Wednesday.

Some good deals, here. I'll definitely try and play them against each other/themselves.

That's what I did too (about pre-dating CBT). How about stuff like how "secure" the bike will be (disc-lock, alarm, tracker, where it's going to be when not in use...), estimated mileage per year...?

Decision made, order placed. After having tried my Weise Psycho jacket on I've decided to go for the Vagos. The jacket's arms reaches well above the wrist, in a seated position, so the Vagos might actually be a good match for it. (the Vagos actually do cover the wrist bone) As a bonus I managed to find them £5 cheaper than anywhere else, on eBay.
