  3. Met Dave today and a cracking bloke. I mentioned your name John, then he kicked me out swearing and muttering under his breath about tight scotch git or something. Dave did the gpz600 in last months Practical sports bike mag and his work is amazing. Loads of 2 smokes in there, lots of suzis GT 250, 550, 500. A nearly finished KH750 and TS on the bench and also what looks like a TL125 honda, but was a rare 2 stroke model.(anyone know what its called?) didn't want to leave, but had to let the man work

  17. does sitting forward or to the back change anything. How about with a pillion? tyre pressures?
  18. update; confirmed the other party admitted fault, so I'm taking it round to Red Rose retro in Burnley rd, Todmorden to have it assessed for the insurance. booked in the private doctors to assess me and also have some physio. Also good news is that I can sort of use the hand for clutch so went for a little spin on it, just can't get into standing traffic for too long or it hurts too much. different view of the forks
  19. I got a set of vacuum dial gauges from a show years ago (£20) always use them (and so do my friends)

  21. great write up,i wanted one for my 50th but pops said it was dangerous approx cost would be great, Donnigton's a great track and saw the 500 GP there in '87. Cadwell seems a good place to ride too.

    I download it and never seen any adverts! it pretty much reflects what is in the books which means its pretty damn good.
  24. CAPESTHORNE HALL SHOW This Sunday, 25th May, The 39th Cheshire Classic Car and Bike Show including Cheshire Jaguar Day, Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield, SK11 9JY. Admission is £7 all adults, £3 children 7-14 and parking is free. The venue is on the A34 between Alderley Edge and Congleton not far from Manchester and the M6.
